Checking in, staff member didn’t seem particularly interested. Had to prompt guidance on how to get to my room.
Dinner was fine. Nothing spectacular.
Breakfast was fine.
Rooms are dated, bed was way too soft. Probably old.
All just pretty average and not 4 star."
"Our room was two flights up and had a good view. The shower and hairdryer were poor on power and effectiveness but we did have a lovely bath after a long walk. The bed was a little uncomfortable and a bit stale smelling but roomy and light. Breakfast was 8:30-9:30 which was late for walkers trying to get an early start, but they do take away lunches. A mixed bag overall but we paid £136 for a double room and expected more for the price."
"The accommodation was OK considering the room was above the karaoke bar and facing the street where loads of people were drinking loudly.
Minor problems included an amply shower gel dispenser in the shower."
"Albany House is utterly faultless! Everything you could want in a B & B; lovely rooms, great shower/en-suite and a scrummy breakfast menu/choices!

"Staff were lovely unfortunately everything else wasn’t. Very noisy with the aircon or whatever it was outside the window. The shower door was hard to open and close. Needed a good clean in the room. Was very expensive for what it was. Pillows were awful. Won’t be going back."
