The fee was exorbitant for Purdue’s graduation weekend and the property was substandard. The room layout was very awkward, for instance the tv blocked the bedroom entrance and the toilet is right up against the paper roll holder on the wall. It’s hard to explain in words, which is why I took pictures and would be happy to share them.

Good - we arrived early and they allowed us to checkin early. Bad - early checkin resulted in a downgraded room, no problem but they said they couldn't lower price because we'd reserved with Expedia - even though we hadn't paid yet. Bad - TV in room didn't work until maintenance came to fix it. Bad - burnt out light bulb in room. Bad - extremely low wattage light bulbs in room. Had to use flashlight on cell phone to read stove/coffee maker instructions. Bad - Central AC unit was immediately adjacent to bed. Every time it turned on it sounded like a truck driving through the room. Bad - VERY noisy, both doors slamming and people upstairs. Bad - coffee maker didn't work. Couldn't read instructions to make sure I was using it correctly until I used my cell phone flashlight (see above). When the building says "Hilton" on the sign I expect more. I won't ever be back to a Homewood suites and doubt I'll ever return to a Hilton owned property. We stay in hotels all across the country regularly from 1 star to 5 star. What does it say that any motel 6 in the country would far exceed this hotel. I explained to the front desk clerk that we were leaving to go get breakfast because, after our experience, we simply didn't trust that we could eat without getting sick. Do yourself a favor. Stay so where else.

I paid via Expedia but I was charged two additional times at the front desk. These additional charges were eventually reversed by the morning desk attendant. Also, Expedia messed up my arrival date.

This place was ridiculously LOUD! From the squeak in the couch, the creak in the floors, the walking back-n-forth of upstairs and downstairs neighbors, door slams, buzzing of the bathroom light AND the "heater" kicking on - I say heater loosely because at 72 degrees, it felt like the air conditioner, while 80 is a basic temperature of heat. I was miserable.

Pros: Loved the layout of the suite. Was perfect for our large family and traveling with my parents. Great water pressure and hot water in shower. Cons:Room had many stains on walls and fixtures. A door handle was hanging off and not attached on an interior door. Tables felt grimy and not clean. Hard to keep children from touching all these things. We arrived in the dark and couldn’t see the dog poop EVERYWHERE in the grass. We figured this out after stepping in it and tracing it through our room. Then having to clean floors and shoes. Overall, was an ok stay.

Loved the setup we had for two bedroom suite. Separate bathrooms worked great. Rooms were super clean and breakfast in the morning was just right.

Convenient location, very clean pool. Crisp, fresh bedding but the floors, especially the carpet was filthy. My grandkids feet were black from going without their shoes inside. Clean breakfast area, staff was great.

This property is in poor condition. Paint chipping, door handles falling off, dirty trim, damaged cabinets, doors not hung properly, non-functioning locks, tub/shower combo needs to be replaced, air handler so loud I had to turn tv to max volume while it was on, I could go on and on. This location needs a remodel. Would not recommend. Also, walls paper thin and couldn’t sleep with neighbors TV on all night.

We traveled for over 10 hours and needed a nice hot shower, BUT, no hot water... The front desk was notified promptly and after about an hour, finally got hot water. Well because of the delay we missed our dinner reservations and had to settle for something else. Then the next day I received a text, about was your stay? We are staying there 2 nights so we drove back to the hotel to make sure they weren't packing up all our stuff in the room. Not happy with this at all, I expect more from a Hilton property. At checkout the front desk didn't ask, how was your stay or anything! Very poor...
