"This may be one of my favorite hotels I've stayed in, anywhere. I stayed there while walking the TMB and then went back to stay again after because I thought it was so nice and unique. "Beautiful place. Absolutely gorgeous interiors and the scenery is breathtaking too. The food and service at the restaurant are also very good. My only complaint was not having an air conditioner in the room as it got very hot when we were there. Apparently some rooms do have A/C but the hotel was fully booked so they could not transfer us to another room. However, the staff did everything that they can to make us comfortable. They gave us not one but two fans to use in the room which helped...

"The staff are very friendly and the room was comfortable. The only downside was that there was no air conditioning and it was over 30°,making it uncomfortable for sleeping, despite the very comfortable bed."

"This was just what I needed. The hotel was exceptionally clean and peaceful, providing a nice break from the trail. The food was excellent and the staff were outstanding. When I checked out I forgot my wallet in my room. The proprietor literally ran up the hill to return it to me. I highly recommend this place."
