A true to expectation hostel
It was a cool place to stay. Exactly what I expected a hostel to be. The service was good checking in and the rooms were full of bunk beds. It was comfortable enough with good Wi-Fi and amenities. The security was a bit relaxed though which wasn't so great but I had no other issues.

Only stayed coz 50% off not worth the normal price
During my 1 month trip in Japan I stayed in various hostel, hotel, homestau and this is by far the least impressive one. The place is quite old and has this really weird smell. Toilets are also not very clean, sinks are very small and shallow with only cold water and there's only 2 to share for everyone. Staffs working there are ok not very warm and friendly either, they are in the common area most of the time at night when I went I did not meet other travellers in the common area only the staff who like to talk amongst themselves. The place is not as interactive and sociable compared to the other hostels that I stayed in. I did however meet some very lovely girls staying in the same room as me. The upside is the location which is great close to major tourist spot and bus stops. Another upside is the price I suppose I managed to book this with a 50% off on Expedia so it only came to $13 per night for me which was a steal! However if I were to pay the normal rate I think I would search for somewhere else next time.

Wonderful Experience
I traveled around Japan staying at multiple places, but while in Kyoto, I stayed here. It was a great experience. The staff went out of their way for everyone. I met some awesome people here as well. The location is great (near a bus stop, temples, convenient stores, and a train station). I will be staying here my next trip to Kyoto, which I hope will be very soon.

Decent hostel
Stayed in a 3 bunk bed female room. Pretty comfortable, although the fan and AC made the room quite chilly for me. No key, just a key code to the front door. Also there are gachapon for soaps/shampoos/etc. All in all a cheap hostel, where I felt safe enough to leave my luggage bag with nothing important unattended while I explored Kyoto. I know people who left their stuff there and didn't return daily. I didn't stay there long enough to get a great feel, but seemed like a lot of foreigners from different countries with a fun atmosphere.

Don't stay here
This hostel was far too expensive for what we got. We booked a private room, which was located on the second floor, near the common room. The room had a terrible smell, that we thought would go away if we aired it out but never did. It also didn't lock. At night, the other guests were drinking and playing darts in the common until really late. This is typical of a hostel, although there is usually a quiet hour. Not here. The noise continued until well past 3 am. We switched to another hotel for the next night, even though we were planning to stay three nights. The one good thing that can be said about this place is that they gave us our money for the two nights we didn't stay back. I would not recommend this to anyone who wants to sleep, or be comfortable.

Nice staff; building is pretty bad
The good: - the WiFi works (but you have to switch which one you're conneced to when you change floors for the common room/computer/kitchen); - there is a computer; - common area with a drinks and a Cup Noodle vending machine with hot water machine, and a retro video game system - the people working there were so nice and very willing to answer my questions about Kyoto. Bad: - no lockers/secure places - crowded room, floor covered with luggage - two showers, two sinks for quite a lot of people (when I was there in July, there were at least 30 people), and the sink basin is so shallow that you can't fill up a water bottle or drink from it, and spitting into it when you brushed your teeth is really awkward - mattress is very thin (okay for me because I slept on top of the covers, but only because it was summer and so it was hot) - everything was just not in great condition. Small towel rack, beat-up everything in the common room, etc. Not a huge big deal because it's just a hostel after all, but some people might like to know. Other: - 8-10 min walk from the closest station (not connected to Kyoto Station); 4 min walk from a bus stop that goes to Kyoto Station in about 15 minutes (260¥), and the stops are a bit different on the way back but you still end up close - I was excited because the hostel was close to Kiyomizu-dera (famous temple) but the road leading up there is so narrow and busy that you would have a lot of trouble walking there; you'll probably just take a taxi

Decent stay.
Very good location with it being only about 20 minutes away from Gion. On the east side of Kyoto, it is close to many frequented temples. Newer hostel so there are some kinks that need to be worked out like maps and other things to offer guests. Easy going environment and the beds were quite comfortable.

If you are looking for a cheap, laid back hostel, then this place meets those requirements. No bells or whistles, but friendly people and a clean environment. Can't ask for much more if I'm traveling on a budget! Worth mentioning: The location is very good. It's literally right on the 100 bus line which is one of three buses dedicated to tourist travel between must-see "attractions". Just about a 10 min stroll from Gion. And a 10 minute walk to several temples, the museum, etc. Lawson's (24hr convenient store) is 45secs down the street on the corner. Just a really great location.

Very convenient location for this part of Kyoto. Helpful staff. Clean. Not enough most important facilities in regard to number of guests (ie. ~45 guests and only 2 showers). Small rooms, no lockers.

便利ではあるが
初めて泊まりました。従業員は、バイトみたいで、施設の案内が不充分で、勝手が分からず困りました。 ただ泊まるだけなら、これでも良いでしょうが、夜遅くまで酒を飲んで喋っている外人のせいでほとんどねれませんでした。 バックパッカーの為の安宿です。

위치 외엔 장점을 모르겠다
단점 1. 덥고 답답함 에어컨 바로 아래였는데 추워서 이불 덮으면 솜이불이라 너무 더움. female domitory 였는데 다들 더워서 새벽까지 잠을 설침. 공기도 후텁지근하고 답답해서 숨막힘 2. 지저분함 욕실엔 검은 곰팡이가 있고 객실 벽은 더러움. 3. 좁다 여자방은 2층침대 4개였는데 캐리어 세울 공간도 부족해서 캐리어 정리도 못함 4. 콘센트 부족 콘센트도 부족하거 연장선으로 주렁주렁 연결되어 있어서 위함해보임 장점 1. 청수사 도보로 이동할 수 있는 위치 2. 영어 가능한 스텝 늦게 예약해서 선택의 여지가 별로 없어서 선택한 곳이었는데 진짜 최악이었음 몇시간 자는둥마는둥하고 새벽에 눈뜨자마자 도망치듯 탈출함. 하루만 예약하고 나머지 일정은 다른 숙소여서 다행이었음 3박 내내 예약했다면 여행 망칠뻔함. 귣이 갈거라면 여름은 피해서 가고 위생에 예민한 분들은 비추합니다

コンビニは近く、バス停も京都駅方面と四条河原町方面行きの二箇所を利用できます。(徒歩1分以内) シャワー室、布団も比較的清潔でクレームにはならないレベルかと思います。

綺麗好き・神経質な方には不向き
お風呂は内鍵をかけても外から開けられる。壁は落書きだらけで、共有スペースも綺麗とは言えない。コンビニは片道徒歩五分にある。1人ならともかく、友達となら行こうとは思わないホテルでした。 ですが、ベッドはふかふかで、門限なし、テレビ・シャワーはいつでも使えるのはよかったです。 私の経験からのアドバイスですが、アメニティはガチャガチャで売られていたので、利用される方は小銭が必要です。寝室のコンセントが遠いので、延長コードがあればとても便利です。

清水寺まで歩いて10分
日本の標準的なバックパッカー宿だと思います。 従業員もテキパキ働いていて気持ちが良いです。 外国の旅行者がほとんどで日本人も若い方が数名だけでした。 シャワートイレも付いてますし、シャワー室も綺麗ですよ。 ２段ベッドで枕カバーは毎回交換、シーツは使い回しなので、細かい人は避けたほうが良いと思います。

桜の季節の京都の宿泊施設が高いのは理解するが、その中で相対的に価格が安いからといって安全性、清潔さなどの 宿泊施設としての最低条件を満たさない施設、サービスは許容できるものでは到底ない。 到着後一時間も耐えられず急遽APA Hotelを予約し移動した。到着当日の宿泊代は止む無しとして二日目の宿泊代についてクレジットカードでの返金処理を依頼したが、今の所なされた形跡はない。 実物を見ないで選択するのが宿泊施設であるが、このような劣悪な宿に遭遇すること自体、今後Expediaなどのweb siteで未知の宿泊施設を選択することを考え直さざるを得ない。

超推這家的，工作人員都超好，房間滿乾淨整齊，只是3樓女生宿舍wifi收得不太好。附近有很多景點，例如清水寺，八阪神社等。最靠近的公車站是五阪条，而最近的地下鐵路是清水五條。從清水五條站到稻荷神社和宇治都很方便。而從清水五條站這地下鐵線來回京都和大阪也是十分方便的。附近有很多和服出租店，也有便利商店，但餐廳就比較少。

大部屋のベッドは仕切りもカーテンもないので、人によっては安心できないかも。 ダイニングスペースは広々としていたので、同宿の人と交流したい人や、複数人での宿泊には向いている。

位置不錯的背包客棧
先說優點: 1.位置離清水寺很近，走路大概五分鐘左右就可以到一年坂；離祇園也不遠，坐公車十分鐘之內會到。 2.交通算方便，離公車站大約三分鐘距離，離電車站大約十分鐘距離。 3.附近幾乎都住宅區，晚上很安靜。 再說缺點 1.當日Check-in的時候，櫃台告知找不到我的預訂資料(沒有我的名字)，而且當日已經滿房，一開始櫃檯也不知道要如何處理，我只好先給他Hotels.com的預訂編號，請他在查查，然後他請我到二樓客廳先坐一下，還好過不了多久，他就跑上來找我說找到我的預訂資料了，主要是因為Hotels.com給他們的住宿者名稱有錯，但櫃台人員最後是認預定編號才確認，所以如果有用Hotels.com的人要注意一下，這也讓我嚇出一身冷汗，因為當天已經是晚上快九點多，而且是旺季，如果真的沒房我也不曉得要怎辦。 2.房間的床有點簡易，床底沒有木板，是簡單的幾條木頭，上面在鋪上一個軟墊，如果想要舒適一點的人可能會失望。 3.浴室沒有提供盥洗用具(沐浴乳、洗髮乳)，請自備。 4.房間的隔音不是很好，入住當天晚上11點還有人在走廊上整理行李大聲講話，有點惹惱人。 5.插座有點少，不是每個床位都有提供插座，像這次我睡上鋪，就要用下鋪的插座來充電。 整體來說價格不算貴，但品質算一般般的背包客棧

是一間沒甚麼個人空間的青年旅館，菁華就在大廳，如果遇到世界各地的旅客，也愛哈拉愛玩的，那一定會很容易打成一片，因為現場有很多遊戲可玩，積木，紙牌，飛鏢機等等。

立地はいいけど清潔感に欠ける
観光で2泊しました。建物に入った時からタバコ臭い印象で入ってみたらエレベーターや壁に落書きがいっぱい。清潔感には欠けますね。シャワー室はちゃんとお湯も出ましたし、それなりにキレイにされてます。洗面台は狭くて顔を洗うと周りが濡れます。女性には勧められないです。ネットカフェのほうが清潔に感じます。汚い部屋の友達の家に泊まるくらいの感覚で利用したほうがいいかと。場所的には清水寺や祇園に近いので夜間拝観や祇園周辺でご飯した後は帰るのが楽です。

가격대비 나쁘지 않고 청수사 걸어갈 수 있는 곳
시설은 가격만큼입니다. 세면대가 정말 작고 제가 있던 방은 2층 침대 딱 3개만 들어갔어야하는데 4개가 있어서 캐리어 놓을 곳도 마땅히 없었어요. 그리고 가장 아쉬운게 사물함이나 프론트등에 짐을 맡길 수 없기 때문에 도난의 위험이 있습니다. 저는 2일 있어도 그런일 없긴 했지만요. 그래도 위생상태는 나쁘지는 않은 편이고 헤어 드라이어도 있습니다. 청수사를 아침에 걸어서 가기에 좋은 위치인 것도 장점입니다. 개인적으로 저렴한 가격에 나쁘지 않지만 다음에는 돈 더 주고 더 깨끗하고 좋은 호스텔, 게스트 하우스 갈 것 같네요. 이번에도 원래 노리고 있던 곳들 방이 없어서 이용했거든요. 비누, 샴푸 등은 없으니 챙겨오시길.

京都を知ってる人には使いやすい立地のホテル
一泊だけで、しかも泥酔して何時に帰ったかさえわからないので何とも言えないが、それでもちゃんとベッドで寝てたので安心安全！朝洗面所＆シャワーが込み合ったのがちょっと困ったかな！６０歳の私にとっても苦にならない場所でしたよ。

位置方面：櫻花期選擇了這裏，因為很接近清水寺，但同時距離JR和近鐵很遠，只能依靠巴士作出入，巴士駅步行距離約8分鐘，搬行李會很痛苦 設備方面：日用品全部牙刷，杯，毛巾等須自備，房間沒有小枱，床與床的空間亦見狹窄，此外廁所和淋浴室只有2個數量相對不足，唯整體算整潔 住宿體驗：房間和走廊都很應聲，夜晚走廊小聲談話及升降機上落的聲音房內亦聽到清楚 價格方面：可能太遲book ，已無太多選擇，5xx一晚較同類民宿稍貴
