A true to expectation hostel
It was a cool place to stay. Exactly what I expected a hostel to be. The service was good checking in and the rooms were full of bunk beds. It was comfortable enough with good Wi-Fi and amenities. The security was a bit relaxed though which wasn't so great but I had no other issues.

No air condition, very small room, not enough showers. They provide only 2 sheets instead of 3.

This hostel was safe clean fun and the people & staff were very kind. This was my first hostel, & it was way better than I had hoped. I am going to miss it.

good price, good location, good shower. good for young backpackers. noisy, no lights off until late night or early in the morning without guidelines - eg. lights off or shower at 1~3 am right next to the room.

Only stayed coz 50% off not worth the normal price
During my 1 month trip in Japan I stayed in various hostel, hotel, homestau and this is by far the least impressive one. The place is quite old and has this really weird smell. Toilets are also not very clean, sinks are very small and shallow with only cold water and there's only 2 to share for everyone. Staffs working there are ok not very warm and friendly either, they are in the common area most of the time at night when I went I did not meet other travellers in the common area only the staff who like to talk amongst themselves. The place is not as interactive and sociable compared to the other hostels that I stayed in. I did however meet some very lovely girls staying in the same room as me. The upside is the location which is great close to major tourist spot and bus stops. Another upside is the price I suppose I managed to book this with a 50% off on Expedia so it only came to $13 per night for me which was a steal! However if I were to pay the normal rate I think I would search for somewhere else next time.
