"The staff at Bliss Lodge were exceptional. They were super friendly every morning and gave us a lift to the slopes (so we ended up being faster than people staying the the middle of Hirafu). They were also warm and helpful in last minute ad hoc requests which made our stay very smooth and memorable."

"Nice 5 star hotel. The service and staff is top notch. The views are spectacular. Great place to retreat to and relax. We stayed here for 1 night in our trip through Hokkaido. My only issue was at check in. We were required to make the dinner reservations and meal selection at the front desk. And not everything we wanted was available to us. So it was very awkward experience in my opinion. I don’t know if I made a mistake not reserving the restaurants in advance but it is hard to know what you want for dinner up to 7 months in advance. Maybe it was just better to order room service. "
