Amazing Resort which such lovely staff

Absolutely amazing stay at the resort! Would highly recommend for families, staff can’t do enough to ensure you have a lovely time. They always go above and beyond. Also so accommodating with young kids and are so helpful. They also helped organise so many trips for us. Roby front of house, Richmand, Khalil, Aziz all so lovely and genuinely kind hearted people!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Novotel! We were hesitating between a resort and staying right in Kuta, but I am glad we chose the resort. It gave us a nice and quiet place to hang out that was a needed contrast to the hustle and bustle of the city. The staff were very helpful and nice! Huge shout out to: Leha, Erna, Ong, Sam (who gave the market tour), Rich man, and Ariana! I miss you guys! I would highly recommend!

Nice rooms and great service. The property is quite far out of town so you need to take a car at IDR50k each way to get into Kuta. The main down side was the pool layout, you could not have any sunbeds by the pool as pool was raised up on all sides. Bit of a strange design which made it hard to just relax by the pool which was a shame.

The area was quite and peaceful, rooms were well maintained and spacious however found lack in cleanliness when it came to mosquito and insects in the common pool and private pool. Spotted a number of lizards at the lobby and dining restaurant, really unexpected at a 4 star resort. A few fused lights and broken tile in Private pool. Had found ants in the sugar pouches provided in room to make tea.

Beautiful ethnic design and innovative layout of the rooms and private and semi private villas with individual pools. Great for families. Staff were helpful and very friendly. Food was good, delicious breakfast buffet. Above ground pool was beautiful and had a lovely view but not great for swimming, only accessible by steps. Beach was beautiful but annoying to be constantly approached by street sellers. We walked to the nearby hill with stunning views of both the ocean and the Madalika racetrack. Very annoying listening to the sounds from the race track. Hills and beach beside the racetrack was shockingly littered with plastics and general garbage.

Checkin without explanation of the facilities. Poor breakfast food quality. Housekeeping not properly organized. Asked for preparing the day bed during checkin, in evening still not done. We checked in with 2 adults and 2 kids. Found 2 shower towels in the room only. Kids of other guests using the pool in normal clothes and washed off their make up from kids club face painting in the pool, needed to remind the pool staff the proper pool rules. Second day our room was not made up, asked reception to make up, 3 hours later still not made up. We used this hotel on our way back from north lombok 2 days prior our return flight. At the end we used the Pullman facilities and restaurant next door instead as we felt of much better quality and service.

If you’re looking for a self contained retreat experience, this property is awesome. Having its own private beach is a plus for that. It’s an older property but beautifully maintained. If you want to venture off the property, though, that’s a different story. It’s isolated, miles removed from the Kuta Beach scene. In my eye, that’s not necessarily a bad thing, mind you. I found Kuta Beach to be overrun with locals on the weekend and largely deserted during the week. Didn’t like the aggressiveness of the hawkers either. So I was content to stay at the Novotel and relax most of the time.
