"Lovely room but not much of a sea view. Also there was a dreadful smell of sewage in the room when I arrived. The staff did their best to sort it but it should have been noticed before i arrived. Nice breakfast, lovely staff and lovely friendly dog called Dingo."

"The photos that sold me on this place looked unreal. Nice Mediterranean looking accommodation next to the ocean. Amazing looking food, reviews stating how clean it was. But, this was 1973.. now it's run down & the uncared for. They ran out of toilet rolls & we had to source our own. The A/C & TV didn't work.. The rooms aren't serviced. The towels you start with, stay with you for the duration of your stay. No coffee /tea station in room.. the music from the bars on both sides & the doof doof...

"We were initially a little disappointed by the location of the hotel - which is on a main road and about ten minutes walk from the beach. There were other cheaper hotels closer to the beach which we hadn't found on the internet (but most of them didn't serve alcohol) - indeed we suspect we paid about double what we would have paid if we had booked locally for this hotel. However the hotel staff were great and we ended up having a really enjoyable few days - staff were very friendly and helpful....

"Hotel was ok although getting a little run down (not dirty just old). Most staff was very friendly but the food service was hit and miss. They messed up our orders twice and every night pushed the buffet and would be reluctant to let us order from the A La Carte menu. However the food from the menu was generally good and cocktails were great. The buffet was expensive and not as good. The hotel needs more competition so it will raise it's game."
