From the first moment upon arrival To the very second i left I had a magical experience. The quality of the food was second to none and drift was a treat . "We stayed in a beachfront bungalow. Amazing. We were made to feel special from the very beginning. Check-in was fast, and the room was spectacular. Big bathroom with big shower and bath. Nicely decorated and 20m from the water. Comfy bed, good food options or take a 100 Tuk tuk to town where there’s plenty of dining options. "

"Super comfortable beds and rooms cleaned daily to a high standard. Resort was not crowded and felt very quiet and peaceful. Great proximity to local shopping and restaurants, 7 eleven and the night market "

"Paradise! Let’s start with the good …. Stunning pool, spacious rooms with beautiful outlook, clean but with the usual firm beds. Gorgeous grounds and right on a beach that stretches for ever both ways- great for walking. There is a pack of dogs that roam the property. They hang around the restaurant and beg for food. They seem harmless but I wasn’t tempted to pat one. In good health though and probably owned by the resort. No cats to be seen The not so good would be the majority of the patronage were Russians. Strange vibe from them, verging on unfriendly. The sea was murky grey and not tempting to swim in at all. Maybe it was the time of year we were there? Something to note is you access the property via a long boat or ferry across a substantial river then shuttle van. The long boat cost 80 baht for the 3 of us and the shuttle appeared to be free (phone the resort on arrival at the pier) All in all a lovely place with lovely staff but it has no soul"

"We loved everything about our stay and the property. We would never again book through Expedia because they are not an honest company. They say your payment will not go through until 30 days before your stay but then charge it immediately and send you a confirmation and and say any cancellations are not refundable. They also blame it on Outrigger Hotel that they do not refund for cancellations. This is not true - they just keep the extra money and do not send it to the hotel. This is bad practice and I hope karma gets them."
