"Great location next to Tsukuba station. The staff were terrific. The rooms in the original building are spacious but are showing their age. The building layout is complicated as well. The HVAC in the rooms is managed from the clock (!), rather than a thermostat. Otherwise, the bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean and comfortable, and the desk was usable."

"Lovely staff and very nice breakfast - the hotel has its own entrance and lift on the ground floor ( next to a covered bus stop) plus itโs only a hop and a skip away from the train station. One small issue was the air con in my room (and air con next to the main lift on my floor) had black spots so they could do with a clean. The cleaning staff look so busy and were always running about i imagine itโs just lack of staff why they might be missed."

"The staff was very helpful. Walked me through doing laundry. Evening ramen was good. Discovered a supermarket nearby with excellent, microwaveable meals. Iโve stayed here several times. I have a friend in Omiya and even though itโs a 15 minute train ride to get there, I think itโs worth it to stay here."
