"This deserves much more than an 8.4 rating. We had one of the best ski stays ever at the Arai and we’ve stayed at Chamonix, Aspen, Jackson Hole, and Big Sky. The hospitality and food was amazing with some of the best service possible. The price was so much more reasonable than any other US destination. Thank you Lotte Arai."

"We booked three reservations. Their cancellation policy is great and it allows us flexibility in our trip. We travelled from Sapporo and were not sure to arrive on the first day of our reservation. So the one day reservation plus a three day was perfect. Great Japanese breakfast. Book larger rooms if you have luggage. Staff very amazing and helpful."

"It’s just beautiful. They have a shuttle to the ski areas that aren’t walkable. Free shuttle from and to the train station. They were very friendly and helped me set up my luggage transportation to the next ski location. "

"Not only is this lodge one of kind, the owners and staff set it apart by offering a very special experience for all guests. We arrived late in the evening and were greeted by the owner welcoming us in and getting us settled in our room. They made sure we got sorted in the morning and ready for our Myoko Adventure.
