Anda Lanta is a nice resort in a quiet area of Koh Lanta close to the National Park. Very friendly staff and a nice property in need of some upgrades. Very nice motorbikes for rent and a decent restaurant on a beautiful cove. You can tell that they are updating things and it is coming along nicely but it is lacking the fit and finish of a newer resort.

If you come to Anda Lanta resort bear in mind that its location is at the very south of the island and in an area not so populated therefore services are rare or unavailable. For all your necessities you have to catch a taxi because no public transport is available. The hotel provides a taxi service that you pay according to the distance of your destination. The hotel has a decent restaurant and a lovely beach which is not crowded. There is massage service but I didn’t use. The beach activities were more than enough for me and my husband. Our room “de luxe with ocean view “ was spacious and always clean. The bathroom was comfortable. There was a balcony facing the ocean and it was soothing throughout our stay. The staff is welcoming and always ready to help. If you are looking to relax and enjoy a quiet beach this is your resort otherwise find something else in the north tip of the island.

We booked two sea view rooms and we were given two rooms that looked at the parking lot and construction sight. I asked why we were not given the rooms we paid for and they said they didn't have any available all they offered was to give us a free dinner. Additionally the rooms did NOT HAVE HOT WATER, the internet didn't work in the rooms, the phones were broken in both rooms so could not call the front desk, the doors didn't close properly so mosquitos were a constant problem. Overall this place was totally overpriced for what you got - very unhappy

Allow us to clarify as follows:1) Our property's name is called "Anda Lanta Resort" and you can see our website via "Andalanta.com." 2) You mentioned that you booked two sea view rooms, but were given two rooms that looked at the parking lot and construction site. (You actually booked one Beach Front Villa and one Deluxe Sea View room). Ans: We must clarify that we 'do not have any construction' going on at our resort now or recently at all. 3) Your other comments such as 'did not have hot water, internet didn't work in the rooms, the phones were broken in both rooms, the doors didn't close properly so mosquitoes were a constant problem. Ans: These comments are not true. All our guests mostly rated our facilities and utilities as 'excellent' and did not have such problems during their stay.It would be good if you could provide our resort's name correctly for further investigation purposes. We stayed in a beachfront room for 4 nights. The resort and beach area are beautiful and quiet. It was a very relaxing few days. The food at the restaurants as well as down the beach were all good. We were able to easily rent a motorbike from the resort and explore lanta. The reception was so helpful with all that we needed. I would definitely recommend staying here.

overall, the resort is nice and the staff is helpful. However, they charge you for everything double and it feels that all they care about is money. The rooms are nice but smell like mold all the time. The island is infested with mosquitoes so if you attract them like I do, expect to be bitten to no end. It's a beautiful island but very secluded. The resort is far from town so you will need to take a taxi which is not cheap.

Really Awesome Place
We really loved this place the beach is so awesome and private there is everything you want theres wildlife, amazing grounds beautiful pool. The breakfast is delicious, the dinners all good service is perfect. My only complaint is the beds are sooooooooo hard I might not go for that reason.

Great resort - uncomfortable bed
Really loved this resort except for one (and arguably the most important) thing. The bed was very uncomfortable. The staff were friendly and tried to do their best by adding extra doonas on top to make it softer but it didn’t really help. Honestly for the price they’re charging (over 220 AUD per night) I was expecting a better quality mattress. Apart from that the resort is fabulous. Great location, clean, good food and on the best beach on Koh Lanta.

Fabulous! Quiet and beautiful. Go next door to the The Last Resort for the best beach bar ever and to Same Same but Different for dinner. Resort provides taxi service. Front desk staff speak pretty good English. And there are monkeys!

Great overall at an amazing serene beach location. The views and the beach access are superb. The check in process is smooth and pleasant, the spacious rooms are readily available. We ate at the hotel restaurant many times since it was convenient, had an amazing beach view, and offered a broad menu selection of tasty food and a cocktail happy hour. The hotel staff is very attentive and responded well to our questions and needs, with reasonable English proficiency in most cases. Our room and all the facilities were clean and taken care of. Definitely good value at the price point. A couple of improvement areas. The wifi connection was quite terrible throughout the complex and rooms and was slow when it worked. At the reservation time it should be made clear that the hotel offers a nice van transfer from-to the ferry terminal for a reasonable price, which we took on the way back, instead of the expensive and uncomfortable open truck ride we took from the ferry terminal. I wish the hotel let us know in advance that their van transportation was available.

A lost paradise with a private beach, surrounded by the forest, and in the middle of the nowhere. Ideal spot for families with young children or people stressed from their daily like that want to reconnect with the world. Good for the last 3/4 nights of your holiday in Thailand, but I would not spend more time because it can become too quite. The resort offers a car rental to go out and visit Ko Lanta (we did it for 1 full day), but spending all that money to sleep in there to then going away defeats the purpose (and there is not much to do anyway). We (2 adults + 1 two-years old child) spent 4 nights there and we loved it. We had a group of monkeys visiting the pool in the middle of the day, with few monkeys jumping for a bath!! It has been amazing because the resort is far away from towns and that animals are not lured there for the tourists. The restaurant is the weak aspect of the resort. It ok for breakfast, but not for dinner. There are 3 other restaurants just on the beach that are cheaper, much nicer and offer fire shows in the evening

Gorgeous location right on one of the prettiest beaches we found in Koh Lanta. Rooms were very large and the property grounds were gorgeous and very well maintained. Pool was large and plenty of lounge beds at the pool and on the beach. The restaurant was great for dinner and the breakfast each morning was very large with lots of options. The free kayaks were fun to take out and the on site scooter rental was very convenient as you can not really walk anywhere from the hotel other than the neighboring bar and another restaurant/bar, which are both nice as well.

Great hotel, if you want just relax.You can get anything you need thete.However it's difficult to find anything nearby in case you do no want to spend thete 24/7.

Great place for a relaxing holiday
We were a family of 5 ranging in age from 70 to 20 years and everyone enjoyed Anda Lanta. The setting and beach are lovely. The staff is helpful and there was plenty to do during our 4 day stay. I thought the rooms were good value for money and the food and drink not expensive.

Good location but rooms need some attention
Nice reception and pool area - the first hotel we stayed out which had a refreshingly cold swimming pool! Location on the beach is great - in a quiet area but the hotel offer a payable car service to nearby Kantiang Bay. Hotel restaurant I see lacking atmosphere Andy everything tends to shut early - one evning we were the only ones in the bar and they started turning the lights off at 9.30pm when the bar is supposed to stay open until 11pm! Our room was ok but a little disappointing - we'd paid extra for a deluxe room which was spacious and the bedroom was confortable, however, the interiors were starting to look worn and dated, especially the bathroom which was very old fashioned. My sister paid less for a superior room and had a better sea view and a clean, modern bathroom - the only difference was was the room was slightly smaller so I'm not sure the "deluxe" status is justified.

Paradise
Totally unspoilt resort which gave us the most relaxing holiday we’ve ever had. It’s a small, private resort situated directly in the beach with everything on site near to hand. Very quiet place. If you like hustle and bustle, this resort is not for you as there are limited options on what you can do. You need to use taxis or motorbikes to go anywhere as it’s pretty isolated. Having said all that, we wanted total peace and quiet and that’s what we got.. only downside is that it’s a 2!hour journey from the airport but we found it was worth it.

A peaceful time at a 3x resort that felt like 4.5x
I absolutely loved my 3 night stay at the Anda Lanta Resort. The staff was so warm and friendly at check-in and I was brought by a comfortable van from the Pier that the hotel arranged. The welcome drink was tasty and very nice to have a refreshing cold towel at arrival and the lobby of the hotel was absolutely gorgeous decor. Pool and Beach Facilities: The pool at this place was amazing as it was very clean, the chairs were comfortable, and umbrellas were there if you wanted some shade. I also loved the beach as it was quiet and empty with plenty of chairs including chairs in the shade. The hotel was very generous in allowing the kayaks to be rented free of charge which was a fun adventure. The Room: The room was very spacious that I stayed in and the air conditioning ran very well for keeping the room cool. The bed was comfortable and the room felt clean. The room is slightly dated, but I didn’t mind that and did have a slight musky smell, but you are staying in a wet tropical climate so I didn't let that bother me, but was slightly noticeable at first. I was very comfortable in my room. Staff: The staff here were absolutely wonderful! I thought they were all very friendly. Restaurant: The restaurant had a large menu including many vegetarian options which was nice for me as I am a vegetarian. The staff was very attentive, good food quality, fast service, and reasonable prices.

Great staff - thank you so much!!!
The hotel staff were amazing!! We left money behind in our room and were stuck on a minibus on our way to Surat thani when we realised. The hotel arranged for someone to drive and meet us. Legends!! The hotel grounds were beautiful and room was huge!

A very lovely place
We loved our stay, the staff were welcoming our room was great and the location is stunning. The beach is lovely and some friendly beach bars. Staff respond quickly and the service was very good. Easy trip to the local town, nice restaurants a short ride away.

Nice resort on an amazing/quieter beach
Great time at Anda Lanta Resort. It's on the south end of the Island which was quieter and more secluded but that's exactly why we loved it. It was easy to rent a motorbike right from the resort and take it around the Island. I also liked that they had snorkels and kayaks for use. The room did smell a bit off at times but it was not too bad. A beautiful mix of jungle and ocean! We would stay there again.

Absolutely recommend this hotel
Had an amazing time at this hotel, gorgeous resort, right on a large quiet beach and with its own great pool. Staff was great, hotel restaurant was amazing, didn't eat anywhere else. Perfect place for a quiet, relaxing stay In Koh lanta. We ended up canceling going to our next island and staying here longer we loved it so much.

We loved the hotel. Our villa was in really good condition and it was very comfortable. The pool was great for lounging. The beach is really beautiful and great for a quiet time. Since it's the south of the island, it is a lot more private which is what we were looking for. We were able to rent motorbikes from the front desk to explore the rest of the island including Lanta Old Town and the National Park.

Quiet spot but great!
The hotel was so peaceful, located at the quiet southern tip of the island. This is a great spot if you want a quiet and relaxing stay. There are some great little bars and restaurants fairly close by and the hotel well take you and pick you up whenever you like for a small fee. The room itself was very spacious, and well equipped, although no in room safe was available. The air con was excellent, although ours could be a little noisy at times. The hotel breakfast was pretty good, the bar had a great selection of cocktails and the restaurant was decent enough, but there are too many great little places around to spend every night in the hotel. The pool was a great spot to relax and cool down, and the beach was right there on the doorstep. We hired scooters from the hotel a couple of days and had a great time touring the island. I love this place.

A pleasant place at a good price point
My wife and I stayed here for four nights in April. We had a wonderful time. There was a mix up regarding a snorkelling excursion, so we weren't able to go, but the reception staff were extremely helpful and apologetic---going so far as to book us on another excursion free of charge. The beech and the area are quite beautiful. Both a national marine park and mountain hike are minutes away.

Very relaxing and quiet!
Very relaxing resort at the southern, quiet end of Koh Lanta. I stayed in a Deluxe Hill Front Room, which I would definitely recommend. It had a beautiful view of the beach and sea, and was quiet and set back from the rest of the resort. The cottages/rooms that are close to the beach aren't so private. Sure, you might have a good view of the water, but also many people walking by the front of your cottage, too. The restaurant was good overall. The beach was beautiful. It's a bit rocky at low tide in front of the resort, but all you have to do is walk one minute down the beach, and you'll find a wide expanse without any rocks. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Perfect for Families. Quiet area
Anda Lanta Resort is a perfect escape for a Families. Its located in the south of the island not far from Kantiang Bay, which is the nicest area of the island. (nothing for party people). The rooms were spacious and very clean. Our sheets were changed every day. The Staff was very helpful and friendly. The beach is great. The Food at the Hotel is OK. Quiet cool Thai-style bar on the same beach not far from the Hotel. They also have fire show on some nights. Next to the bar is also a travel agent where you can book tours and rent a motorbike cheaper than the lobby. I can recommend this Hotel for Families and people who just want to relax on the beach and enjoy a quiet holiday.

We stayed for a week at the Anda Lanta Resort. We had a great time, and the resort performed up to expectations in all aspects. A comfortable room, a very nice beach and a nice pool, a restaurant with tasty food and friendly staff. What we didn't know upfront was that the place was so family-oriented: lots of guests with babies and toddlers. They cater well for it; it's a good place to stay with a little one. We don't have a lot of comments of the type "this is what they could do better"; here are some small ones: - the driver that was to pick up up from the ferry pier didn't show up; we had to call the resort and wait half an hour - like in many hotels, electricity in the room depends on inserting the room key tag in a slot; unfortunately this also includes the electricity for the fridge (which we figured out the hard way) - one afternoon when we wanted to rent a scooter, there weren't any available Nevertheless, overall a really good place that we would recommend to anyone.

A gorgeous spot away from the busiest places
This is a lovely place in a gorgeous setting. My wife and I were taking a few days r&r after a grueling trip through Myanmar. This was the perfect solution - comfortable accommodations, away from the busiest parts of the island, friendly staff, good service. This is not the most luxurious place around, but it was plenty nice for our tastes (this is not to say that it is not a first class resort, just that it's not super-luxurious).
