"The hotel has been recently rebranded and is undergoing extensive renovations. The bits they've finished, like the rooms and the dining room, are new and shiny. The room itself was comfortable. It's close to the town, which has good izakaya and other options if you're not on a meal plan. There is also a Lawson close-by. "This was my first experience in a Ryokan. The staff here made everything so enjoyable and welcoming. The on-site Onsen was great. The food and restaurant staff were also great an welcoming. I couldn't have asked for a better more relaxing experience. I will never forget this and hope to visit them again."

"We were greeted with freshly made hot tea and cakes, and an incredibly informative introduction to the hotel, amenities, and local area. They also provided wine in the lobby and an open bar with multiple drinks and small snacks until midnight and 0200 respectively which was almost unbelievable until we saw it ourselves. "

"We had a nice stay in one of the deluxe Japanese rooms. It was a treat for us and we felt well taken care of. We chose the half board option and the food and service felt special. The accommodation is just off the main strip but still very close. We really enjoyed our 2 nights. I would have liked to choose between an upper floor or lower floor as I pictured having a garden attached to our open air bath (I am probably being unrealistic so this is on me!), but it was still very lovely!"
