"Tucked away behind Moo 4, The Khao Lak Palm Hill Resort is a hidden gem. Don’t expect beachfront chain hotel luxury but do expect rustic charm and a warm, friendly welcome. Far enough away from the main road to be peaceful and tranquil but close enough to access everything that the area has to offer by way of shops, bars, restaurants and the beach. The hotel has 49 large rooms, all surrounding a lovely pool and with the forest as a backdrop. There wasn’t one day that we didn’t get a sunbed...

"Gerard and his wife went above and beyond. From when we arrived to inquire about available. We were ask to join them for dinner. We had already purchased are food. But the gesture was fantastic. Gerard was also helpful in directing us how to hike to the near by waterfall. I unfortunately didnt take any pictures of the property, but please take my word for it, it is well worth the stay. "

"I highly recommend staying at The Sleep. The cleanliness is above and beyond what is expected for such an affordable price. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, quick to meet any requests or to suggest any nearby sights and/or activities. Phang-nga itself is incredible, with many sights to see, and best of all, without the crowds! I thought I’d only stay 2 nights, but ended up staying a full week and still did not manage to get around to see everything. The hotel is within walking...
