"The hotel was advertised to have a 24 hour desk. Had to make a call and wait for someone to get checked in. The hotel was in need of major maintenance and repairs. It actually should not be open until the remodel was completed. TV didn’t work. No hair dryer. There were missing drawers. Flooring and walls in need of replacement. "Surprised at the condition of rooms. Bathroom poorly outdated and room felt rundown. Pleasantly employees but disappointing quality."

"The room was lovely. The hotel is beautiful. We had a room in the actual building not in one of the outbuilding/cabins unfortunately because we were there just at the opening of season. The restaurant and bar were not up yet. Travel to other restaurants is good 10 to 15 minutes or longer. The pool was not open yet of course but during season, I’m sure it’s lovely and the staff was kind and very attentive."

"Great downtown Honesdale, PA location. At check in I was told to park in the Wayne Memorial Hospital lot which is shared with the Hotel. Check in was pleasant/easy. Stairs to 2nd floor room. At end of day rush hour a bit noisy from the busy street/intersection. Room could use a thorough cleaning and some updates. Older mattress well past its' useful life. "The place is in a beautiful spot but totally run down. The staff does not care about the guests and will do nothing to help. No coffee until like 7:45 if you’re lucky. No complimentary coffee as advertised. Really disappointed all around. Place is so old and smelly. If you like nursing homes than you might enjoy staying. Sorry but true.
