"We stayed 1 nite in room 7 lovely room and amazing shower room which is an old vault only downside is it does flood the whole area but was worth it bed was comfortable it doesn’t have phone network so be prepared to use there free WiFi also doesn’t have normal tv channels you have to sign into Netflix luckily we have Netflix so was easy to do wat really impressed us was def the shower area in room 7 it was awesome we will def return to room 7 if in Swindon :)"

"Lovely typical country pub / hotel. Very friendly welcome, room and bathroom were very clean. Good tea / coffee facilities and homemade biscuits were a bonus. Breakfast was excellent, wish we'd had time to taste lunch or dinner as it smelled fab. Next time we are visiting family nearby we will be back. Thank you"

"The accessible room i stayed in was clean and in great condition. Good quality bed linen and a choice of firm or soft pillows. Blackout curtains ensured a good night's sleep. The staff were very helpful, polite and friendly. Breakfast choices were good. The scrambled eggs were light and fluffy best ive had in a hotel. The food was lovely and fresh as well as hot. Gluten free and oat milk were provided too. Choice of fruit juices and cereals too. Very clean. Would definitely stay again and...

"There is parking behind the waitrose and staff walked us there after their shift had ended to ensure we understood the parking App since tomorrow is the Farmers Market on High Street and we would have to move the vehicle early. Now it’s all sorted and paid in advance. Of course it’s an older hotel and everything is crooked and settled, but you should come here for that eclectic experience, as we did. I just miss the old mural that was painted in the pub before, replaced by a more modern map. "
