"Good points - free parking, very close to town centre, spacious room, breakfast, pool (didn’t use), staff friendly. Bad points - tv broken, reported to reception but no maintenance on Saturday therefore unable to solve problem, air con would of been great during hot weather, cobwebs on ceiling/walls ..."

Didn't go into Kendal itself. We went for a meal in the evening but did not explore the area.

We walked from the hotel into town which is just one straight road and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of different shops cafes and restaurants. There is definitely every shop you need. Loved it
