"Lovely greeting on arrival. Parking on the doorstep which is a bonus being in the centre of Kendal. Check in was simple having already completed the online form. Facilities available were explained to us and we headed up to our room. We were a little cross with ourselves for not bringing our swimming costumes!! Room was spotless and lovely and warm. Bathroom was also clean. Love the fact that in the bathroom they have a note saying if you’ve forgotten toothpaste/brish/razors etc they have them...

"We stayed in a family room. It was very spacious, clean and comfy. The Inn is not far from Kendal cbd (less than 10 min drive). The hotel does do dinner, it is a little pricey tho. The included breakfast was quite good (cereals and full english breakie style included in our stay). "

"I booked my stay at this hotel through Expedia. When I checked in I was told that I hadn’t prepaid through Expedia. Because I was tired after a long day, I paid as requested by the hotel . Through Expedia I requested this double payment to be returned. Over a week later I’m still waiting."

"Room was great with amazing views. Friendly and lovely staff.. Great location. Also, high compliments for the food we had there. We thought the main bedding could be better with a bit more blackout curtain/blinds as the ambient lights outside were on for a longer period at night - these are some feedback for the sake of it. "Very clean room and breakfast lovely, hot, high quality bacon,sausage etc . Pets welcome in the bar area only Mattress too firm for our choice but this personal to each person . Nice touch of bottled water , various selection of small soaps, shampoo etc and choc biscuits in room . Very busy Friday night for eating so understandably bit of a wait find our table and take orders . Great food and beers ! "

"Such a great place to stay for a couple of nights. The staff are excellent; friendly and very helpful. The breakfasts were excellent, too. And our twin room was very comfortable - very comfy beds and excellent shower en-suite. Very nice touches in lots of ways. We ate dinner both nights and were very impressed with both the quality and quantity of the meals. We really hope we will have another visit! "
