"This place had an amazing restaurant on site, parking was easy, the lobby was gorgeous and also had a coffee station with breakfast items in the lobby. The lobby had a gorgeous fireplace and gift shop. In terms of the rooms, this was nice / standard and the bed was comfy. I especially liked this place had black out Curtains and a fridge ( this was our best place lodging in Alaska during our stay) would recommend and stay again,"

The attached restaurant next-door has the very best crab legs I’ve ever had. The service was phenomenal too. Be sure and order the breakfast in the morning. It’s homemade and very tasty. "Staff (woman owner or manager) was very unfriendly in person, yet friendly and helpful on the phone when gathering information prior to making our reservations. Assured us she could provide transportation pickup from the bus drop off to her lodge. This was NOT true! When we called for a pick up, she said she was too busy and could not pick us up. We then had to scramble to find another way to get to the lodge! So unprofessional! During our 1 night stay, she just seemed very unfriendly. ...

"This cabin was beautiful and a wonderful place for my family to stay. It was well stocked, comfortable, and surrounded by a gorgeous forest setting. We truly enjoyed the cabin itself. We did have an issue was the listing description. Based on Expedia, we believed the cabin was located in the harbor area near the Safari Lodge and within walking distance of town and attractions. We were disappointed to learn on check-in that it is actually about four miles from the harbor in a secluded forest...

"What a great experience! The Yurt was great! It was super clean and cozy. The bed was very comfortable! There is no bathroom in the Yurt - - there are portable toilets and a shower a short walk away. Overall I would recommend this for a unique Alaska experience!"

"The rooms are very small. The sink is located in with the main room, not within a bathroom. They do not have 24/7 complimentary coffee. The breakfast was pretty good for a hotel buffet. The pool is tiny and everything in that room is rusted and it is very hot and humid. They definitely have a humidity control issue. We stayed 4 days and had to change out our own trash, ask for towels etc. all but 1 day. Overall, location is convenient and it is clean, just poor upkeeping."

"This is a good "brand" type hotel, new and well-appointed and reasonable. With eagles nesting in the parking lot trees. A decent location, close to a supermarket and restaurants, very helpful staff. It also works as a corporate events place but the rates were normal."
