Cedar Point's Hotel Breakers

"The high cost to stay here was for the convenience. Nice to have fast and easy access to the parks, beach, pool and restaurants. However I did feel that the rooms were not worth the cost. The air conditioning was not cold enough despite lowering the temp to the lowest which was 66 degrees. There was no fan in the shower so the steam had nowhere to go. The patio was great but very dirty. The pillows and bed were not comfortable. Kids had a blast so that is success."

Cedar Point's Express Hotel

"I stayed at this hotel with my 3 teenage kids for one night to break up a long drive. I chose it specifically because of its proximity to the amusement park (it really is a brief 8-10 minute drive). The hotel is basic and clean, but I think it's very important to note that if you book this hotel through Expedia, you DO NOT qualify for the special rates at the park. The hotel's website does a terrible job of making this clear, so we booked our stay thinking we could get the discounted rates for park tickets. Unfortunately, at check-in I found out that this was not true. There were no luxuries (like available bottled water at the registration desk), and most amenities were an additional charge. If you're looking for a basic stay at a clean, convenient place, this is just fine. Staff was friendly, but not accommodating."
