"Excellent central location "

"This is very basic accommodation. Clean but very old motel style. No security, the room door opens to the outside world. A 20 min walk to Katoomba Main Street; may be ok with a car but very far on foot. Out of the way of the main part of Katoomba, on a loud highway. We didn’t investigate whether there were any food options onsite. "

"For an overnight stay it was good value for money. The room had recently had a lick of paint, but the outside looked very tired. Bed was very soft for us, but not uncomfortable. Check in instructions were a little vague, just need to chat on the intercom that was faulty. Would return again at this price."

"Saw no one. Needed at least a toaster. Fridge was terrible and not very cold. No crockery "

"Simple clean motor lodge right off the highway. Not close enough to downtown to walk for food. "

"Location is good and my room was comfortable. Attention to detail in cleanliness was lacking. Staff difficult to locate at times with reception desk not always staffed. Continental breakfast was really just toast and cereal with very limited choice"
