"Our stay has been nice. What saddens me is the trash I saw on the beach. It’s not in front of the hotel but all along the beach. People here don’t respect the beauty they have here enough to put their trash and recycle in the right containers and our oceans and beaches suffer from it."

"Beautiful lagoon-front self-contained hotel, room was spotless, staff the most courteous and helpful I’ve ever met. Lagoon tour (arranged by front desk) was peaceful, full of birds, Captain Rohan a fantastic guide to birds and wildlife. Transportation to Negombo is via tuktuk, driver Asim polite and exceptionally kind (provided tour of Negombo and a short errand for salt and Type G adapter for my travels, Amagi Aria has universal outlets but the rest of Sri Lanka has Type G). Excellent breakfast...

"Am 60 yrs old, have about 4 holidays a year, 1st time Sri Lanka and i am saying this Hotel is absolutely brilliant, food, staff, comfort, pool everything is just great."

"Das Hotel ist eine tolle Ausgangsbasis, um die Sehenswürdigkeiten im Bereich Colombo zu entdecken. Die Zimmer sind sauber, komfortabel und mit allen, was man braucht ausgestattet. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, der Pool ist sehr erholsam. Das Essen ist wie die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des Personals nicht zu übertreffen. Nur der Strand ist zum Schwimmen nicht so geeignet. Wellness wurde auch angeboten, leider hatten wir zu knapp geplant."

"We stayed in an over-water villa and it was huge and lovely, set apart from the hotel but not far. Only minor thing was the pond they are set in was a bit muddy as the water was shallow, if it was a couple of feet deeper the whole illusion would be much nicer."
