We didn’t feel safe at all and the balcony was on the first floor. So people can easily just walk right it. That ruined the trip it self. The space it self was clean and huge. "We were forced to book this hotel last minute due to a cancelled flight and no other options. It was incredibly expensive and not worth the cost. The hotel is very old and outdated and the wifi does not work. We were able to check in late and the room was clean but I would not stay there again for that price. Definitely taking advantage of low inventory on the island"

"Stayed here for a week during my recent solo travel to Madeira, and aside from the friendly staff, the clean facilities and the included daily buffet-style breakfast, the convenience of its location was what stood out for me the most: it's somehow both in a quiet neighbourhood and less than 10 minutes of walk away from the seaside and the marina, probably 5 minutes away from many local, non-touristy dining options and shops.
