I was surprised when we got there. The staff spoke limited English if any at all. There were cats roaming everywhere, including the dining area which is a covered outdoor area. There is a gentleman making eggs but not made to order. Everything looks likes it’s been sitting out all day long. Breakfast was awful. There are limited restaurants within a walking distance. The rooms are joined which never makes me feel safe. To access our room we had to go up one elevator and go over to another elevator to access another building. It was super inconvenient. The pool areas were run down. The bathroom got no air and was super hot. The ac would also automatically turn off when you left the room so it was always super hot when you got back to The hotel. I would not recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay and were very impressed with room space and cleanliness. We were also inmpressed with how quiet and peaceful the stay at our time of stay at princess sea view. Staff were very friendly polite and always smiling.

Ok but needs improvement
Had to change rooms twice. Firstly because of a broken blind in the bathroom, then a leaking air conditioner in the second room. The hotel was ok but needs to be upkept and maintained more than it is. Overall, my partner and I were a bit disappointed.

Perfekt for a short stay
We enjoyed our stay in Princess Seaview. The room was really big and comfortable. The location is not really centric, but perfect to scape from the crowd and the party tourist area. Transport to the beach is always available.

First of all, if you like swimming, do not choose this hotel. The pool looks very nice on the images however its deathly cold. Even for a Northern Brit in the tropics. You will not enjoy swimming in this pool, it's also pretty dirty and old. Sun loungers are acceptable for sunbathing. The Sea View rooms are okay, a little tired but clean, however, the pillows are dreadful, the cotton inside them has been washed hundreds of times so they have no bounce to them at all. Most of the staff at the hotel are friendly, however reception staff, especially the two males that do the night time duty are totally and utterly useless, they take ages to make any kind of decision and let guests fix their own issues. Not only rude, they are ill-trained and selfish and should not be working at a reception desk The only positive thing about this hotel is the view, which you can get any other high floor hotel on Karon beach. Don't make my mistake and spend a little more and book the Ikon or Hilton. You will not regret it two weeks later.

Not a four star hotel at all - rundown, overpriced
If you are Russian or Chinese on a tour staying only overnight, this might be all you need, but dont book here for a week like we did - you will be disappointed. Limited breakfast, right next to diesel tour buses billowing smoke. I caught an eye infection - either from the pool or towels. View was not at all what was in the photos - that was only the very top rooms. The rest of the rooms had a terrible view of moulding roofing. The first room we were given had a broken shower door, and the second room we were given had a groaning toilet system! We ended up checking out early and staying in one of the guesthouses right next to Karon Beach, with a fresh cooked breakfast, which was way better value for money.

Arrived at the hotel and was underwhelmed. It is quite run down, however, they were repainting the outside pool area when we were there. The rooms are basic and bathrooms need updating. The beds were so hard we had to keep turning over as our back/ribs/sides got sore. No pillow protector so we had to put our own clothes around the pillows. A coach load of very loud tourists arrived, got drunk at the pool and left the beer cans and cigarette butts everywhere which weren’t cleaned up by lunch time the next day. So drunk they were trying to get into our room through the connecting door until I shouted at them to stop. The hotel is in a good spot though and you can take a nice walk through the Hilton to get to the beach (10/15 mins). I would suggest paying that little more for the pool access rooms. Plenty of places to eat/markets a 10 min walk from the hotel. Taxis available to take you into Patong/Kata. Staff were great, very friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel with a view
Mystery Deal hotel was excellent paid very less compared to all the other 4.5 star hotel, Room comfort was excellent. for the family of 4. Room were cleaned every day, bathroom was huge with a bath tub and also a balcony with the view of the sea. overall very happy with the service.

Awful. Everything about this hotel is awful. Staff, cleanliness, location, room everything thumbs down! Checked out and went to the Ramada instead. Great hotel- shame the same can't be said for the Princess Seaview Resort.

I visited Karon Beach off season, so my stay was very relaxing and the service was alright. I had a great penthouse like room, with a great view of the ocean. I can recommend spending that SG$ 5 extra for the ocean view. Really worth it. The staff was helpful, despite poor English. I enjoyed my stay and could stay there again.

We were to stay at the Princess Seaview hotel for 5 nights. Very disappointed with a couple of things the beds were as hard as concrete which overall meant a terrible sleep every night, When we spoke with reception we were advised that all the beds were the same. The other fact was that there was no free internet provided. This I find unbelievable as I could go to have a massage or a cup of coffee down the road and internet was provided for free. The hotel wanted to charge an extra $20+ australian dollar a day. Outrageous.

The hotel was a substitution for the more expensive resort. As it turned out, the location was about 100 meters from the entrance to the pricier resort. The room was large and clean with a nice view of the water. Staff were helpful and attentive. I'd stay again.

Perfect for young family
We travelled to Thailand on our honeymoon with our 7 month old, not knowing what to expect and a bit concerned with what the quality of hotels, but when we arrived at the beautifil Princess Seaview Resort all concerns were pushed to the side. As soon as we arrived late at night we had their friendly staff help us with all our luggage ans baby equipment. Check in was a Breeze and the room was made beautifully with honeymoon preps. Our stay there was care free and any requests we made for baby e.g. sterilize btls, not too make room up at certain time due to baby sleeping was never a drama! In fact it was always replied with a smile. The free transfer down room Karon beach is one of the best features with this resort as it saved us money instead of taking a car or tuk tuk. I cant talk highly enough of the staff and they just loved our little girl and became quite familiar with her. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone travellin with children as the location, room and staff was amazing.

I liked our stay at the Princess. The pictures on the internet were a bit better than in reality. It was a bit old fashioned but comfortable. My son didn't really like it for some reason. It just didn't have the fun factor according to him. Also, the bathroom doesn't have the sprayer like at other hotels.

I love my hotel stay as it faced the seaview. However, WIFI is chargeable and I paid for 600 baht for 24hrs surfing net. The hotel staff did not inform me that the router is down and I tried the whole night trying to surf the net but found the reception is no good. My phone was not working at that time and our room is far from reception, has to take 2 lifts down to the lobby. I told the hotel staff I couldn't surf the net the whole night and was told the router is down and the technician is fixing it. They did not even display the sign that router is down! The overall stay is fine and room is clean, however, if you like to walk, it takes 20mins to walk to the beach and there are shuttle services from 0800-1700 hrs.

Me and my boyfriend stayed for 4D3N at the hotel and the experience is fantastic! Staff were attentive and friendly. we offer to stay in a room overseing the pool & bar area (really good view for relaxation) However, wifi is not available and we had to pay for 300 baht for a 6hrs usahe. Breakfast buffet were at reasonably so so...We rented a motorbike for 350 baht for the whole day. The hotel was about 15 mins walk to karon beach (very nice beach resort) and shopping and dining area (lots to shop and lots of restaurants!) Overall, we are very satisfied and will want to check in with the same hotel again on our next visit!

We had a great stay at princess seaview in karon, clean and nice hotel with great pool area. Friendly and helpful staff, like in rest of thailand not the best knowledge in english though. Situated a 15-20 min walk from the centre and the beach, but the hotel offers a bus shuttle every 30 min from 7am-6pm and there is also a taxi station right outside the hotel.

New resort, spacious and great views
With large clean rooms, where only the shower cabin is quite small and spacious outside floor areas and a rooftop terrace make this hotel fantastic and very good value for money. The staff is very service minded and there is a free shuttle to/from the beach from 8.00 to 17.00. Walking is around half an hour! The main pool beautiful and is around 60 meters long. Internet with cable connection is fast and 1 hour is around Bath 120 with logon/logoff facility.

Unfinished but promising to be near-perfect
The hotel is spacious, well-run, and spotless. The food is wonderful and staff most willing and dutiful. The difficulty for English speakers at the moment is the almost total inability of the staff to speak English. The guests during my stay were 95% Asian and most pleasant as fellow-guests. However, there were some daunting misunderstandings with reception over phone calls to room, etc. The swimming pool was delightful, there is a shuttle-bus to the sea bathing, and tours can be arranged... The Fitness Room is not yet in operation and certain beautifications, such as fountains, gardens, etc. are not yet in evidence. If they manage to get over the language problem for English speakers I think it will be a most desirable place to spend a holiday and would be highly recommendable. It is highly recommendable already for anyone capable of making themselves understood.

Sengetøj blev ikke skiftet under opholdet og der var en lille blodplet på. Sengene rigtigt hårde og puder alt for høje. Personalet snakkede ikke meget engelsk men var ellers rigtig søde. Tror hotellet har 1 stjerne for meget ift. oplevelsen.

Sehr sauberes, schönes und komfortables Hotel, seh
Wir hatten ein Upgrade für ein Zimmer mit Poolzugang erhalten, es ist großartig, der Pool ist riesig und wir waren oft alleine drin, da das Hotel nicht stark besucht ist. Die Zimmer sind groß, bequemes Bett, Kühlschrank der auch richtig kalte Getränke kühlt. Großes Badezimmer mit Wanne und Dusche getrennt, alles sehr sauber. Jeden Abend einen tollen Sonnenuntergang vom Balkon aus zu sehen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden wieder kommen. Negativ ist, das es relativ weit vom Stand ist, es fahren aber mehrmals die Stunde kostenlose Shuttel an den Stand.

Fint hotell med otroligt trevlig personal. Frukosten förväntade vi oss bättre med tanke på hotellet. Ingen restaurang att äta lunch eller middag eller bara ta en drink var en stor besvikelse. Den skulle renoveras men tanke på att det var högsäsong så kändes det som en besvikelse. Badet var fint men poolbaren var obefintlig även den. Hotellet har stora möjligheter men det krävs att alla delar kommer igång om vi ska komma tillbaka.
