"Great small hotel and fantastic staff. We had our best meal in Turkey at this hotel’s restaurant. The staff were extremely helpful and kind even though we couldn’t properly communicate. I definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in trying something unique. "

"A very charming bed & breakfast being managed by a very sweet lady. The rooms are beautifully decorated in ottoman style. The owner is very helpful and hospitable and the homemade breakfasts in three morning were also very delicious. Definitely a place to return to."

"Akbulut Konak is a beautiful old Ottoman house set in its own peaceful garden just far enough out of the old town but still walkable. The host is extremely attentive and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious with lots of homemade jams, cheeses, eggs, bread and pastries. We coukd not fault our stay here in August and woukd recommend to everyone."

"It was a great experience. The hotel is run by a family and the are very nice people. Break fast wad good. The host looked after very well. The hotel was very clean and represents pure Turkish style accommodation. I would like stay there again if I ever go to Safronbulo. "

"This beautiful old ottoman hotel is beautiful. The rooms are quite basic but very clean and comfortable. The aircon was brilliant (it was very hot while we were in Safranbolu) and we had a lovely view from our room. The buffet breakfast was a fairly typical Turkish breakfast with plentiful options and we were very satisfied with it. The location is fantastic with jus a short walk to all the action. "I love when you book at a Hilton property and know it will live up to the standard one expects. We arrived later in the evening and after a full day of driving and sightseeing, it was lovely to be able to know everything would clean and comfortable. The room was well designed, confortable sheets and bed (though it was a small double and not a queen or king). Crabtree and Evelyn shower products. Lovely view. "

"This hotel is a true gem. It is run by the kindest and most caring couple. We stayed in 14 hotels in 15 days across Türkiye, this was the absolute BEST. They pay attention to every small detail to make sure your stay is perfect and authentic. Beautiful people in a beautiful setting. The rooms are comfortable and clean with lots personal details and handmade surprises. The Turkish breakfast was outstanding and included homemade jams and other specialties. I highly recommended this sweet hotel and would happily return there myself. This place is a true gem."
