"Another hotel nearby was given to us, we tried to contact you, however phone was saying "we are experiencing technical difficulties."
This hotel was awful. Besides they did not pay us the difference between these two hotel costs."
"The first day we arrived, the power kept going out so it took us over an hour to actually check in to our room, on top of that the guy that helps with the luggage made a comment/joke about me to the vallet which i definitely did not appreciate. And our bedsheets had a smell to it as if it had not been changed yet. We personally did not have a great experience here."
"This hotel charging twice (!) cash and card. It is a big pitty that we didnot ask for a bill. After finding out that the money was taken as well from the bank we asked hotel.com for support, however the Aelbistan hotel reject double billing and no support at all. Be careful and check when paying. "
"Rooms cleaned every day which is a big plus Breakfast plentiful staff pleasant and helpful the hotel is situated near the beach plenty restaurants bars etc on doorstep will be returning soon. "
"the only thing to like about this property was the pool. most other people on the complex were other workers from hotels using it as bed sits. with bunk beds with overcrowding rooms "

"We spent a week at Six Senses Kaplankaya and cannot recommend it enough overall. Although about an hour’s drive from the airport through hills and villages, the journey is well worth it once you arrive at this sanctuary of peace and beauty.
The highlight is the staff: from the personalised GEM service by Melis, to the professional restaurant and spa teams, and the ground staff who ran daily activities — everyone made us feel welcome. Our maid, who provided thoughtful twice-daily service, left a lasting impression even though we didn’t catch her name.
The spa was outstanding, with treatments that were both relaxing and rejuvenating. We also enjoyed a variety of complimentary activities, which kept the week engaging. Along with access to the numerous beaches, gym, yoga and sports facilities.
Dining is a mixed point: the restaurants serve delicious meals, but it can become expensive and limited if staying more than a few nights. On the other hand, breakfast is exceptional, with plenty of fresh options to enjoy throughout the week.
On arrival, however, there was no welcome drink and my VIP status was not acknowledged — no upgrades, discounts, or added benefits, which was disappointing. That said, the check-in process was quick and efficient.
Overall, this is not just a resort — it’s a destination where you can truly relax, reset, and feel cared for at every moment. We left deeply refreshed and are already considering a return."

"Guelluek is a wonderful small Aegean town, very picturesque, the hotel has the BEST location in the town center, quiet in front of the sea and all restaurants are only a few walking minutes away! We will definitely be back. A special "Thank you" to Furkan, who was very helpful with our luggage and always around to help and assist. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly too! This hotel is your best choice! "
"The beach is a 15 minute walk away it has a boardwalk with restaurants and shopping. Also a Starbucks is right next to the hotel. Theres a McDonald's popeyes and subway 3 minutes away"
"It said all inclusive when booked. But they charge for bottled water and Turkish coffee. Also, there was an unpleasant smell in the bathrooms. There was no door to the shower making it hard to take a shower without getting the floors all wet. Overall, highly disappointed.

"Firstly, I want to say this was one of the most enjoyable hotel stays I have had in my 30ish years of international travel.
The Hotel consists of small cabins spread amongst a beautiful garden, surrounding the main building which houses the restaurant. This is a family operation, with Mithat running the hotel, sons and wives helping in the restaurant.
They also are able to guide you on various treks to the numerous archaeological sites ranging from Paleolithic cave paints to Byzantine Monasteries.
Situated just uphill from the old agora of Heraklei under the Latmos, you are feet away from incredibly well preserved Roman baths, Hellenistic theater, and some of the best preserved Hellenistic fortifications in the world.
The Hotel and Restaurant made the Michelin guide this year, and it's incredibly well deserved. Every meal was fantastic, and the service was outstanding.
I regret not having budgeted more time at Lake Bafa. Between this hotel and the numerous archaeological sites in the area I could have stayed for weeks.
I highly encourage this hotel for anyone who has a interest in trekking/hiking, and 100% it's a must stay if you or your significant other have a interest in Roman-Byzantine history and archaeology.
I honestly can't recommend this hotel enough. Book here, and you won't regret. "
"This is a good choice if you like authentic village settings - and dogs and cats! It's in a small stone village where the owner is renovating small cottages and turning them into tasteful guest accommodation. He's doing a nice job and is very helpful and friendly. He has a sweet little dog who lives in the breakfast area and there are other dogs and probably six friendly cats around, so dog and cat lovers rejoice!
It feels very authentic and it's very clean. It's one of those many stone villages in the area that is being refurbished and rebuilt."
