"We had a wonderful stay in a Family Seaside Room with our 2 teens. Spacious and comfortable, strong AC. Wifi worked, hot shower, comfortable beds, mini fridge. Basic amenities. They gave 4 water bottles and a new roll of toilet paper per day and beach towels were available at the front desk. We enjoyed the chairs on our porch and the amazing view of the other island. The way the island is set up, there are only beach paths which cut through all the hotels so you do get a lot of people walking in front of the room along the path - not the place for you if you want something more private (or pick a room farther in the back without a view). We loved people watching along the jetty and enjoyed the vibe. It was quiet for sleeping times. A quick and easy 5 minute walk to Coral View beach and another couple minutes to PIR beach. Just breathtaking beaches! Clear water, amazing snorkeling right off the beach. Restaurant on site had great food, took credit cards and we loved hanging out there for the evenings but the service was hit or miss. Get there early or wait for a table for a long time. They forgot part of our order on 3 occasions and we had to ask, after a 40 minute wait. Also more expensive than other places as they add 20% tax/gratuity. Overall, we kept our expectations low as the islands aren't very developed or luxurious but we were comfortable, felt safe and left feeling very happy. The Perhentians are incredible and this hotel made for a great home base during our stay."
"The check in was smooth with welcoming. Friendly and helpful staff throughout the stay. Noor Hafizul, was extremely pleasant, and welcoming! He was extremely warm and helped us soo much with all the suggestions for the island and the hotel more broadly upon arrival. We were soo happy and impressed with the check in service offered by Noor Hafizul, thank you soo much! Farouk the hotel singer at dinner time created a very pleasant vibe and atmosphere, we really enjoyed the dinning experience, and having this live performance every night. The hotel itself has lovely beaches around it, with nice swimming facilities on site as well. The breakfast selection was also delightful! Room was as described, spacious and clean."
"The hotel was lovely, great facilities, fantastic staff, especially Priscilla. It was All inclusive and had some of the nicest food around, set in a more tranquil side of the island, but the hotel organised activities and boat trios went all over both islands"
"Pretty cool villa.Exceptionally clean with beautiful surroundings.
However, its pretty much away from the city centre but if tranquility is what you are looking for then this place is excellent."
"I feel this place has had some unfair and harsh reviews in the past. I can of course only base my review on our experience with the room we booked, a triple room with AC. Yes it is a bit of a walk from the long beach jetty and there is a bit of a broken up path with a small incline to the reception but from coral beach the hill is steep. We were greeted at reception by a friendly host and a bottle of water. We found our room to be clean and as the pictures stated, we had a fan and air conditioning and the room was quickly cooled after a hot walk. Our room was unfortunately at the top of another hill but can't be helped given the landscape of the property. The bathroom was acceptable the shower could have been slightly better as it didn't have much pressure but was enough to wash. There was no wifi in the room and the mobile reception is minor and patchy at best but this IS a remote island paradise. If you need entertainment in your room you'd be best to download a series or two but generally browsing internet and social media just about worked on mobile data. The property is a short and fairly easy walk from long beach and its restaurants, shops & bars about 5 mins. It's also a 5-10 minute walk from coral beach which is great for watching sunset but the steep hill is short but sweaty. I think the price of this room is more on the expensive side for basic accommodation but the AC is worth the upgrade as the jungle island is hot & humid. All in all we were happy with the stay"
