"The room was clean. when we got back to our room in the evening, lemongrass oil was lighted, be it to give good scent or to prevent mosquitoes. The staff were friendly and nice. Breakfast provided is worth the value. The location is also strategic"

"A beautiful restored shophouse. Very welcoming staff and very clean common areas. The rooms can get a bit warm in the afternoon as part of the roof is covered in zinc and conducts heat directly into the room. Bed is located in the attic which can be a slight inconvenience but it adds to the overall charm of the place. Toilets are small and poky but still good enough for me. For the price, I would still recommend this place for those seeking something out of the ordinary. "

"Whats not to like. Its a delightful and charming gem of a place. The virtues of the 9th century vintage shophouse design are exploited to the full, in conjunction with al modern amenities. JL is a genial and affable host. I do expect to return and do not hesitate to recommend this venue to customers in the future. "

"Our stay was memorable because the room was big, clean and comfortable. We were allotted a beautiful room with a beautiful view of the city. All the tourist attraction sites, plus other sites of interest, were within a few minutes drive. The staff were very friendly and very accommodating. All in our family had a lovely stay at this venue."
