"The Balmoral is a beautiful hotel! Its location is perfect since it’s close to all major attractions. The staff are accommodating and helpful. I’ve stayed in two different rooms and both were lovely and had great views. The restaurant is very good and the high tea in the Palm Court is superb!"

"The apartment was clean and had all the amenities needed for our stay. The bed was comfortable. It was walking distance to many sights and restaurants. The hosts were friendly and were readilt available to assist or answer any questions one may have. Would definitely consider a return if we came to Scotland."

"Overall the property was good but some things to note. 1. Hot water wasn’t working when we arrived. They had someone over within 2 hours to check it, and did end up fixing it within about 4 hours, it was frustrating after a long travel day. 2. The mattress was not very good and the bedding looked run down. 3. There is a little patio type thing that could be accessed by the bedroom, however the furniture out there looked dirty and it didn’t appear it was cleaned at all ever. Should just remove...

"The stand out was the service. Friendly staff and excellent service. Room service was speedy and if you had breakfast included there was no extra charge. We had an issue with our TV and someone was there within 2 mins. The amenities in the bathroom smelt gorgeous. Loved the variety in the mini bar. Good size mugs for a cuppa. Only down side was the water pressure in the shower."

"We were a bit disappointed in the size and cleanliness of the room. It was so small we didnt have room to open our luggage. Had to place them on the bed. There was tons of dust on the light fixtures and baseboards. Being a clean freak I was put off by that. Staff were okay but not as friendly as other hotels we stayed at."
