"So I read multiple reviews from people who visited this resort and I can honestly say that reserving the diamond club made the experience 1000% better. There was a butler who attended to our every need. They did not skip a beat. Dinner and Spa Reservations were not an issue, we sent our request to the butler and they were made for us for our full duration. I tried looking on the app to reserve dinner myself and it was fully booked. Not sure how that would have worked without a butler but if you visit having the diamond club should be the only way. The main swim up pool bar ran out of things and the staff there was rude but the diamond club swim up bar and restaurants were never an issue. Staff was always pleasant, top shelf liquor was served and was never out of stock. Diamond club pool is calm and peaceful for when you want to step away from the action and could go back to the main pool at any time. I loved it. No complaints."

"I wanted to love Hodges Bay but we had an overall ok stay. Our transportation from the airport was mishandled but was fixed at the end and our return shuttle to the airport was taken care of. The resort was fairly empty as we often had the pool to ourselves and got familiar with other guests quickly. We decided to try the Asian specialty restaurant the 1st night and it took over an hour and 15 min to get our meals. They were only 4 other tables at the restaurant during that time, so Iโm not sure why. We had to flag down our waitress several times for an update and they were no apologies or anything. Many staff were nice but others wouldnโt even greet you or say โgood morningโ back when you say it first. Simple courtesy and manners were not returned. The food at White Sands was good. At breakfast they served the same thing, a typical Caribbean breakfast but not much complaints there. We enjoyed the chicken roti and burger from the bar area the most. Food did add up and ended up being quite costly. Thereโs no entertainment or even live music so if youโre looking for that, this is not the place. We were upgraded to a suite with a butler on arrival which was a nice touch with beautiful views of the ocean. The cleaning was subpar in the bathroom. I did thoroughly enjoy my time at the spa. I traveled with my toddler and husband and thereโs not much things for children to do. Although I did have a relaxed time, we would not be returning."
