"My wife and I stayed at Coco Rose Guest house for a week in January. We rented a car and the drive from the airport in St Johns was easy to do. The house is on a quiet street that abuts the ocean. The beach is not the best to swim at but it is wonderful to explore. We had an ocean view balcony that was wonderful. The room was large and spotlessly clean. "The inside of the condo is fine / recently updated and staff very friendly and helpful. BUT the condo had not been cleaned properly - previous guest's toothbrush and other items were still in bathroom. The outside is just UGLY and the condo is WAY TOO FAR from the beach. Have to drive at least 5 mins to any amenities and the beach. Jolly Harbour is OK...but would not recommend staying there if you are not needing harbor access "

"The first floor apartment was perfect for us, clean, spacious, well fitted out, and stunning views from the balcony while we enjoyed our breakfast and post beach G & T. The setting is lovely, up a hill, quiet, lovely views, great for us. We had always planned to hire a car which is needed, good restaurants 10 to 15 mins drive away ( not far in miles!). The owner was very attentive and keen that everything was OK. We loved it and would definitely stay again!"
