I stayed here for a two week period. The rooms were small, but totally ok for the price of $22 per night being then location it is.
During the two weeks, I never got one completely clean bedsheet. They all had spots on them. I complained the first day, and they gave me another room, but it wasn't any better. I had a different room the second week, but both rooms had horrible ACs that never really cooled down the room. The first room that I had was facing north (towards Grand Indonesia), and there was a very loud mosque going off every morning that penetrated the walls. For the second week I got a room facing south, which was much more quiet.
For some reason part of the room has a glass wall facing the neighboring room. The glass wall is shaded off in the middle, but light can still shine through. The most annoying part was that my neighbor seems to like sleeping with the light on, which also lighted up my room.
The food was ok for the price. In addition to Indonesian oily breakfast, they also served pancakes, omelettes, and fresh fruit. As long as you spray yourself with bug spray before going down to eat, you'll be fine. There were unbelievable amount of bugs in the food area and quite a few flies on the fruit as it was not covered up.
All in all, it was a very cheap hotel for the location, but the cleanliness and hygiene could have been much better!
