"Loved the property... wifi didn't work and the air conditioner in room 224 leaked water pretty bad .. but the beds were comfortable, loved the balcony view of the pool & ocean and Lemon Bar .. wish there was an elevator .. but overall it was a great experience."

"I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is 100 years old. So if you want a cookie cutter big Chain experience, this probably isn’t for you. The hotel has wooden floors, and you walk out the back door literally onto the beach. Mary, the staff member on duty when I checked in was incredibly friendly. If there’s a wedding going on during the weekend, it will be noisy because the building is small and old. But it’s unbelievably charming. I stayed in two hotels while I was in Jacksonville.
