"The Inn should be a destination - not an option. I would give a 10 star rating if possible. The entire staff from the Inn Keeper Nancy, to the mixologist that makes the most creative, thoughtful and balanced craft cocktails... the bar tender that went out of her way to feed me after a VERY long day of travel... to the housekeeping staff... management and more. Start to finish I was treated like a valued guest. Without exception, they all went above and beyond to accommodate every need... even ones that I had no considered. I stayed in 2 quaint rooms - each with a fireplace and jetted tub...views... Breath taking... plenty of hot water and the coziest accommodations: thoughtful and well appointed. The public spaces offer many nooks and crannies to tuck away and be comfortable: outside on the extended wrap around porch with rocking chairs with cushions to enjoy the views... a fire pit... Adirondack chairs on the lawn to take in the views... an interior double sided fireplace with comfortable sitting areas to enjoy. The FOOD... The best meals that I have ever had. I didn't take photos... I should have. The beet salad was beautiful - the presentation was almost too pretty to eat. Stacked, topped with a candied pear and surrounded by flowers, nuts and a sauce. The chick was perfection. The best cocktails that I have had... Just go. You won't be disappointed."
"We stayed here while on an atv adventure. Trailer parking was great and they have direct access to trail system from parking lot. Rooms are clean and spacious although shower/toilet area is a bit small. Bathroom is set up as two seperate areas. It was great having a restaurant on premises and the food was very good. Overall a very nice weekend"
"Property is showing signs of warranting upgrades. Rooms and exterior grounds and buildings. Breakfast was not available one of the mornings which was disappointing as we were looking forward to having breakfast there. This was a 3rd time staying there. All 3 times have been just ok."
"Comfortable stay. The room was nice except the safe was completely broken. The bathroom sink was covered in cracks and the shower drained slowly. Still hairin the tub from the previous occupants"
"Loved the historical significance and serenity! Beautiful location and they have a nice bar, restaurant and pool. The lobby is very welcoming and when they don’t serve breakfast in the dining room they put out a simple but nice take it with you treat of yogurt and fruit, juice and bagels. You really have everything you need there. Golfers will have something to do as well, there is a 9 hole course on the property. If you are a family of skiers stay at Eagle Mountain House in the winter and Ski Black Mountain, you will have memories that you will cherish a lifetime."
