"Nice hotel but too old. The bathtub drainage was really bad but the technician came right away to fix that. It would be nice if the old bathtub replaced with the shower."

Eagle Mountain House & Golf Club

"A wonderful older property with plenty of history. Eagle Mountain House was rebuilt in the early 1900s following a fire, so do not go in expecting modern luxury. You get unique characteristics like an elevator where you have to manually open and close the double doors, though the furniture and carpets in the rooms is definitely tired and due for an update while still keeping the historic feel. The room was clean at check-in, the bed was decent, and basic amenities were covered. One practical tip: older buildings have gaps, so avoid leaving lights on. I left the bathroom light on overnight and found a cluster of tiny flies in the tub the next morning. Keeping all lights off when out or sleeping completely solved the issue for the rest of the stay. Staff was friendly, and the hotel restaurant offered a descent menu and we enjoyed our dinner and a couple of good breakfasts. The on-site golf course offers beautiful mountain views, but don't expect much from the course itself as it is not well maintained. Overall, a very nice stay and I would stay here again."

"Great place in general. Dissapointed that some venues not open even though peak foliage time. Only eay to get a cup of tea was in a cardboard takeout cup. Stickneys was great. Jeremy was a great server. Dissapointed with service at 1902. Very rushed. Entree delivered before I finished my soup. I expected more from a 4 diamond restaurant"

"We stayed just one night. It room was clean and were very pleased with the private balcony to sit and have our morning coffee. The bed was also comfy. The only negative was the trim needed painting and the tub needed to be redone. Cosmetics. We will be returning next year for sure"

"Property was located close to area in Jackson where we were attending a wedding. Our initial room that we booked was not available but staff made good and put us up in the igloo home on the property which was very clean and had everything one would need for the weekend stay. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our accommodations that we we received as a result of the room cancellation. Thank you Wildcat In. Staff"
