Would stay there again.
The staff at the Artisan Istanbul MGallery were amazing. Emirkon Dogukan at the front desk was very helpful with our transportation needs and questions we had on visiting the local sites.Zerrin in housekeeping went out of her way taking car of our needs and kept our room spotless. Breakfast was delicious with a view of the Bosphorus. Kabatas ligth rail station and Taksim Square are within walking distance of the hotel.

Great central hotel!
A fantastic hotel, breakfast in the rooftop restaurant was a treat each morning. The staff were exceptional and always ready to assist. The rooms were clean and comfortable. On the Friday and Saturday there is noise at the front from a club in the area, that was a minor inconvenience. Location was great and central to most areas. I would definitely return. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Very unfriendly reception who hangs up on your face when calling from the room saying we had an open drain in the shower which was also quite horrendous. There are much better properties around the area. Would not recommend.

For first timers visiting Istanbul, this is a great property. We had exceptionally beautiful view of Hagia Sophia and Blue mosque from our bedroom and also rooftop bar from where we witnessed beautiful sunrise/ sunsets every day. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was also above average. The area of SultanAhmet is also very beautiful- only thing is street restaurants try to rip you off when they realise you are a tourist and their food I also doesn’t taste the best. For food, either eat in the hotel or go outside Sultanahmet. Overall a very pleasant stay. Amazing amazing hotel.

Very disappointing stay.
The employees of this hotel lacked the basic understanding of English. Our stay was very stressful because we could not communicate effectively which made our stay difficult. A waiter explained to us a desert item on the menu as an ice cream but he delivered a hot melted Halva with a sprinkle of crushed pistachio. Very poor service. I believe the service we received was very poor versus the money we paid for our stay in this hotel.

The hotel has a convenient location, but I encountered some issues during my stay: There were no USB ports or plug converters available in the room. When I inquired at the front desk, they claimed to have none left. In an attempt to find a solution, one staff member offered to sell me a basic converter for 200 Liras and I asked him to hold it for me while I went out. However, upon my return, there was no sign of the converter, and the staff had changed. The new front desk staff apologized but informed me that they also had no converters available. I had no choice but to offer 200 Liras all of a sudden. It seemed that there was a discrepancy regarding the availability of converters, which was quite frustrating. Aside from this issue, my overall experience at the hotel was positive.

The Artisan is a respectable, enjoyble hotel to stay at. The bed was comfy, with great black out curtains and a great shower. The staff mostly kept to themselves, but they were helpful when we asked for things. Simple amenities, and we didn't try the breakfast but the lobby always seemed very quiet. The area is quiet and easy access down the hill to besiktas or up the hill to Taksim, so a great location.

The roof top restaurant was very nice and Ibrahim was excellent as well as the chefs who made our poached eggs. It was confusing to know when the restaurant was open to the guests and we did not find out until the last night that the bar downstairs also served food. Very limited staff who spoke English

Great location! Pricey for the value. Excellent breakfast. Be careful not to overcharged due to currency difference. Hotel overcharged me for the room I had reserved for my niece and her husband. They charge you in euros even you have booked in US dollars! Very friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Overall good hotel with great location.

Excellent and neat hotel. Rooms were of impeccable quality. Spacious bedroom and living room. Bathroom was ultra luxury. Had all the necessary amenities plus many additional items. Breakfast was extremely tasty and fancy. View from rooftop hotel was astounding. My price included complimentary late check-out. But the check-in personell was not aware of this option and questioned multiple times how expedia can sell price like this. But eventually after argument they gave us late check-out.

The room was fine, mattress hanging through a bit, the rest of the hotel looked much better on the website. The top floor restaurant has a great view but the furnishings are not very comfortable and very used. On the map it seems like you are super close to Taksim Sq however it's a pretty steep uphill walk takes about 10 min at least.

Great choice! From location to the hotel itself and the staff, everything was just great. Walking distance to most places. Such a good value too! Staff were very friendly.
