Convenient and affordable!
Super convenient location and nice hotel. Despite being in the heart of Besitkas, this is on a quiet street where most restaurants are closed by dinner time so I had no trouble sleeping. Easy to walk to everything including the ferry. Great price too! My only complaints are that they wouldn't give an extra pillow and the motion sensor lights in the hall turn off too quickly. Overall great place though!

This location is near ferries to all locations of Istanbul, Asian and European. Bustling scene right here; some cafes look like Paris. Good value. Baby next door didn't like it at all however. Walls a little thin.

Minor problems but intend to come back!
Place was HARD to find. Would have helped a lot to know "look for the huge Harvey Burger sign, we're next door" because the Puffin sign was a postage stamp. There was a bad sewage odor that came and went randomly. Otherwise, the room was quite nice for the price and the location was excellent. Intend to stay here again on next trip!

The location is really good as there are cafes, bars and restaurants all around. The hostel is clean and the beds comfy, with partition curtains that create some privacy. The only thing I would point out is that the bathroom is unisex, which may or may not be an issue for someone. This is more of an issue with the showers, as there’s is no lock on the shower door, and anyone could basically open the door and walk in. I didn’t feel comfortable showering personally but this might not be an issue for someone else. The rooms don’t have locks, but there are big, spacious lockers that help with keeping the stuff safe. Decent hostel, would definitely recommend.

Best Budget Option
second time, I stayed in Puffin, and happy to see that it got better. I stayed in a double room, clean and nice, good heating and enough light. Besiktas area is my favourite with lots of cafes, restaurants, bars etc, but no noise inside at all. ıf you are looking for a budget stay in a central location, highly recommended.

The stuff is very friendly and helpful. The hot water for shower is not hot. The location is good, with lots of shops around for shopping, eating, and coffee shops.

Very rude people who claimed I am the mistaken one, although I paid for my full stay which they claimed I have to pay for and although I missed 2 days due to schedule overlap I showed them my intention to reach the hostel 2 days later but they collected the money and rejected to keep any credit for me, first time when I booked they even played with my cards and collected my booking costs and returned them back again which caused me worries and I had to contact 2 times to stop my CC manipulation

We just followed the rules that you accepted when you make the reservation. But you were not at hostel on your arrival date and you called us to cancel the next day which was late. Because you have right to cancel your reservation until 2 days before the check in. Your fault was being late to cancel your reservation. Acording the reservation policies we charge the penalty amount. For this kind of issues the web sites collect credit card information. You should be more serious and take your own responsibilities. By writing this kind of reviews you are misdirecting people.

Ich wurde sehr herzlich empfangen und habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer hatte einen Balkon was ziemlich angenehm war. Die Zimmer sind sauber und alles notwendige ist enthalten. Im Umkreis ist alles gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Ansonsten gibt es sehr viele Taxis, Busse etc. die fahren. Kann ich für kurze Trips nur weiterempfehlen 👍

Öncelikle bina yeni tadilat gördüğü için yeni ve temiz. Klima güzel çalışıyor. Duşu uzun süre akıtmama rağmen sıcak su akmadı, ılık su geldi bir süre sonra, yaz günü için yeterliydi. Öneri olarak mini buzdolabı ve kettle eklenebilir. Bir daha yine kalırım.
