"Firstly I booked through expedia who I thought would be competitive, however I paid £70 more than apparently booking direct as got an invoice pushed through my door on the morning of checkout - they said the I paid £70 more because I booked through expedia and that was their commission. The hotel was perfect location, but very dated and old fashioned. The bar was expensive and the spa area was massively overpriced for what it was"

"Large, sunny 2 bedroom apartment and a short walk to the beach. Carol is a lovely, friendly host and made us feel very welcome. We were very lucky with the weather but felt the apartment would have benefitted from some fans as it became very hot and stuffy in there. The bedrooms only have blinds but they are not quite as wide as the windows. The gaps let in the morning sun and evening light from the street lights leading to a very disrupted sleep. Would definitely benefit from having heavy curtains in both bedrooms as we were woken up at around 5am on both mornings. These additions would definitely make the stay more comfortable as everything else was great 😊."

"The Rookery is a well worth a stay. A lovely well kept guest house located close to seafront but in a quiet street within easy reach of the town, pubs and restaurants. Alan and Charlene are most welcoming and friendly making everyone feel part of the family. Children very welcome and well catered for. Breakfast cooked to order with plenty of choice setting you up for the day"

"House keeping was good. Room was small and pretty tired. Bath hand basin sink plug broken and toilet seat would not stay up. Staff polite but not very customer focused. Just did their job! Breakfast was disappointing. Advertised as ‘continental’ but fell short of what we were expecting. Parking good. Plenty of space"
