"This property is what I would call quirky due to its age. There are steps down from the kitchenette into the lounge and steps from the lounge into the downstairs bathroom. I found the property to be clean and comfortable. Generally street parking worked ok but it’s a long walk to the seafront. "

"A wonderful place to stay! We have stayed before when cooked breakfast was available but our out of season stay this time saw a continental breakfast only. Excellent new coffee/drinks machine. Previously we have always stayed in the main building but this time we opted for Louisa lodge. This surpassed our expectations. We will be back."

"The room we had was clean, good size and bathroom big and shower very good . The owners couldn’t be any nicer and nothing was troublesome for them Breakfast was a big plus because it was piping hot and in a lovely room . " We love the location and have stayed here on a few occasions. We love how the hotel is so pet friendly. It’s accessible to Bournemouth and Swanage, plenty of walks from the hotel and close to the beach (especially for an early morning/ evening swim). Our dinner was lovely and the breakfast is plentiful. "
