"The location was ideal. The service provided by all the staff was of an extremely high standard. What my husband and I especially appreciated was the high quality fixtures and furnishings....along with the very powerful Aircon. The only slight negative was the constant loud music around the poolside. Acceptable for a younger clientele but not really acceptable for the older clientele....we're in our late 50's. However, would I return, possibly."

"lava beach is an excellent resort. We throughly enjoyed our stay there last week. Thanks to Daniel and Christina for the very warm welcome, and to Laura for making sure everything was ok! The resort is clean, with beautifully manicured gardens. The choice of food at breakfast and dinner was excellent; including the vegetarian options. "We had a wonderful 9 days at Barcelo Playa Blanca. It was a wonderful hotel with amazing facilities, incredibly clean and rooms were fantastic. This was pretty much the first time we’ve done a half board basis and the value was amazing, saving us a fortune for a family of 6 where we normally spend upwards of £150 a day on food and eating out. So overall a fantastic trip, a superb hotel with great staff, service and amazing facilities. "

"We travelled as a couple with a baby aged 10 months. Check in was relatively quick, we waited for two families in front of us but when it got to our turn things were sorted quickly. Front desk staff member i think called Hugo was very nice and explained everything clearly. Our room was ground floor immediately as you come out of reception. The accommodation is split into apartment blocks. "
