"Where to begin....it’s an apartment and not at all as described. We arrived on Sunday to no staff. We literally wandered the building until someone took pity and helped us. Exhausted we napped only to have the owner banging on the door (not using the buzzer system) loudly and aggressively demanding the tax money of 15 euros. "Older hotel, but exquisitely maintained in an idyllic location just above Ischia Port. The walk down the hill to town is short, the complimentary shuttle service extremely convenient and a public bus system that runs every hour so I never had to climb up the hill. The hotel has a beautiful terrace where you can enjoy cocktails and wine from the bar, and a nice breakfast every morning overlooking the pool and the port. The staff were very helpful. I will definitely come back when staying in Ischia!"
