The location was amazing, so much wildlife to spot! It is remote though so we had to taxi everywhere. Nice pool area. The staff were very friendly in the dining area. The rooms although large needed updating, especially the bathrooms.

Indeed a haven to rest, relax, connect with family and friends. Morning walks around the lakes, swimming in the luxurious infinity pool and the warm jacuzzi to relax .. a great way to chill ! The hotel apartment we stayed in gave us opportunity to connect with family. Will be a great place for company, church or religious retreats.. in a restful and clean environment

Great location and friendly staff. Family trip with teenagers so we went with 2 apartments which was not needed. Still suffering from Covid lockdown, so not all restaurants were open. Not crowded at all.

Located in the rustic area with nice view of greenery, caves and lake. It is nice and peaceful. Honestly not many choices for big family like ours. So this three bedroom suite suits our needs. Nice and cosy. But I wish the reception area can be a bit more welcoming, perhaps more lighted and staff more proactive in terms of helping with the luggages. When this package comes with free breakfast buffet, I thought for all 7 of us but turns out it is for 5 only.

Is the Haven a Heaven's stay?

Everything and i mean EVERYTHING was good except that check in time of 3pm is kind of late for me as i have kids that would like to rest after a long drive. They will slip a paper notice under your door to notify you that check out time is 12 noon to ensure you don't forget. It feels that with such a late check in, they cant wait to get you out for the next guest. Appreciate if they can adjust the Check in time to 1pm which will be just nice after lunch.

Significant drop in standard

I had visited the haven before covid with my husband's family. At that time I could not stop raving about the 5 star experience. So we return again now with my family and was sadly disappointed with the drop in the standard of service: the top ipoh restaurant is now horrible, housekeeping not up to par, wi-fi kept dropping, and more importantly the staff don't care.
