"When arriving at property, door locked. Supposed to use app for info. Neither of us was able to download the app. ended up calling expedia and still waiting for return call when knocked on door and were told that the door would be unlocked at 1600. Great location. parking tight but adequate for us. Room small but adequate and lovely!"

"My family and I stayed here and we thoroughly liked it. Excellent location right off the Grieg street walking bridge. Lots of shopping and restaurant options. The interior of the unit was very clean and safe and easy to get too. We appreciated the in unit washer/dryer to catch up on our laundry while on our trip. The check in process with the owners was simple and straight forward. Highly recommend. "

"This historic building is in the perfect location. The dining area is remodeled and absolutely beautiful. Food is really good. The rooms are very nice as well. Just remember there’s no lifts to rooms as it’s a historic building. The location is so close to rail and bus stations. The staff is super nice and very helpful with any needs you might have. Would highly recommend staying here."

"The property was located about 10 minutes from train station-very convenient. The room was small but very clean. Housekeeping came in daily. The one concern was the hot water which very hot. Possibility of scalding if not careful."

"The main property was nice but don’t be deceived. There is an outbuilding where we were placed. It was old, carpets dirty, and just not what I expected for the price we paid. The grounds are nice but this is located in the city in a neighborhood. I felt it was misrepresented. That said, their scones were good."

"Hotel indicates they have parking, but it’s very limited for the amount of rooms and we were never able to get a spot. There’s a lot of trash outside the hotel as well as old dog poop just sitting outside. The front door was never cleaned up. Inside walls needed to be repainted. There were things splashed and dripped down the walls. The worst was our bathroom there was mold growing on the walls (near the floor) and when we took a shower, the whole bathroom flooded. "Tiny room for an exorbitant price"

"We did not enjoy our stay at the Black Isle. The price we were charged for what we got was wild. Way overpriced for a private bunk bed room in a hostel. The room was very hot, the only way to cool it down was to open the windows, but it was very loud outside until midnight when the Secret Garden closed down. There was black mould in the bathrooms and very few amenities in the room. The mattresses were thin and felt like the springs were digging into our backs. I will note that the bar staff...
