"The check in for starters is very odd. The first thing they make you sign is a disclaimer not to get the wood floors wet etc. or there is an additional charge. The next odd thing is we used the sauna located in the basement which is under construction. So it doesn’t really feel like the pictures. The next item, you need to use their sandals which you are required to deposit 25 CHF in cash per set. You cannot apply to the room or use a credit card hold etc. Not exactly welcoming or relaxing....

"We had a wonderful stay at Boutique Hotel Alpina. The staff are amazing, welcoming & friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great. The hotel has a beautiful view of Lake Brienz. There’s a sitting area outside where you can enjoy the view of the lake and mountains. Got a free parking in the property. Thank you so much Hotel Alpina!"

"Great location right next to the train station. You can actually just walk out of the straight to the track. It’s very convenient especially since you need to take the train & bus to everywhere in Switzerland. Only flaw with that is if you have a room facing the track (which we did) you can hear the trains. It’s not terrible but you do hear them on the track and can hear the beeping noises they make when they open and close the doors. Wasn’t terrible but there is some noise. The breakfast is...

"Overall I’d say this was an excellent stay - the only glitch was that we were told breakfast was until 11 the first day but it ended at 10 so we were only able to get coffee. Could have been a misunderstanding since I checked in late. Other than that I’d highly recommend this hotel - very clean and very friendly staff. I would definitely stay again 😊"

"The hotel is within few minutes walk to train station. If you are driving, there's a secured underground car park. Staff are all very friendly and helpful.
