"Lovely hotel with a lot of character and history. Great location for sight seeing and scenery. Rooms were nice and cosy. Bit of a squeeze for 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) but we only stayed for 1 night. Breakfast to order was lovely. We ate dinner next door at the pub/ bar. "

"You simply will be hard pressed to find a nicer B and B anywhere. The hosts have literally put their heart and soul into providing accommodations and stays that enhance your beautiful Islay visit. Everywhere we went, locals were in agreement with how pleasant and hard working the hosts were. A few lamented that only guests could experience the dining experience offered at Glenegedale house. They are both incredibly hard working and involved in improving Islay for visitors and locals alike....

"Rooms were clean and loved the individual ‘huts’. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was fresh. The only complaint that I would have is that we arrived at the resort after 7pm and they would not accommodate us for dinner. There was a couple that checked in minutes before us who had no issue. After a long day of travelling, this was frustrating."

"Stayed here with my husband and 2 kids (5 and under). The room was spacious and clean. Parking was convenient. Breakfast had minimal items which was in line with expectations from past reviews (milk, cereal, porridge, bread, jam, coffee). My only issue was the shower, the way it is heated doesn't provide flexibility to get the temperature correct (3 settings of cold, luke warm, burning hot). We only stayed one night so it was fine. "

"We had a wonderful view from our room once the weather cleared up. Dinner reservations book up fast so I recommend booking in advance if you plan to have dinner there. The pub that is attached to the hotel was great. All staff were very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and wouldn’t hesitate to return. "

"We had a fabulous week at the Isle of Mull Hotel. The hotel is beautiful and our sea view room stunning. We ate at the bar and in the restaurant and both were amazing, staff were polite and attentive, especially Sean. The hotel is great for touring round the island and provided us a comfortable and convenient base for our trip. Only downside was the pool wasn't open as there was a problem with the heating of the water, but I think that was nearly fixed as we left. Spa was open though,...
