"The phone number only is no good. Carpet needed cleaning, but understandable for being near the beach. Beach access was super close and convenient. I love that there was unbrellas to rent and toys for the kids to play with."

"I liked the property, nice place for our needs with kids…tv hard to operate or get Netflix. Pool nice, hot tub cold. I left some things on the balcony- kids favorite clothes and 3 floatie vests on the balcony and could not get anyone to look and see if they could hold the. For me or mail them to me (I know they were there). Called three times and no help or call back. Check in was not great. Would not allow a late checkout even by 30 minutes."

"This is a clean, cozy, locally owned motel. The owner is always around making sure everyone has what they need, and keeping the grounds clean and beautiful. The attached bar/restaurant is also nice. I loved that I could get a single slice! I can’t wait to stay there again!"

"My husband and I stayed at Crystal Bay for almost two months, as we sold our house and we are about to move to a different part of the world, but I had to finish up my work. It was a great experience staying there, it made us feel like home. "I give it one star because I can’t give it 0. There were mouse droppings in my bathroom. Called the front desk and no answer. Expedia called the front desk and no answer. The day I checked out I told the lady in the front desk and she said the manager would call me and nothing. I messaged the property through the Expedia app and nothing again. "Totally convenient to downtown Dunedin (and even more to Dunedin Brewery). Easy drive to Honeymoon State Park and Tarpon Springs. Gotta be careful of pricing, as they are not economical for extended stays. Convenient onsite parking in garage under hotel. Would be a bit tight for F-150 pickup though....."

"Very disappointed! After spending so many years at the beachcomber and advising friends and family to go, if management doesn’t understand customer service it’s a total failure. Been going to the beachcomber since 2012 probably and easily spent over $50,000 on our trips. Totally unacceptable to expect hundreds of residents to stay in a 10 person pool, no tv or internet for 3 days pool down 4 days out of 6. "asked for handicap room, did not get one. unable to use bathroom first night, not wheelchair accessible. elevator out of service, parking was a mess. we will never book thru Expedia again. left a day early but were charged for the room anyway. online advertising looks great but nothing like it really is."
