"Nice apartment, ideal positioning, Illfracombe is very steep, but lovely walks to be had. Car parking is free after 6pm in the town also. We didn’t use the facilities but pool looked a decent size.
Cushions on the bed were very hard. Could maybe do with a couple of soft ones in the wardrobe as a just incase. Lovely place overall. "

"It was a lovely self- contained property for one or two people. I think it would feel crowded for any more. The hosts even bought a new TV when i couldn't watch the Olympics on the old one. The games room was great but if I hadn't known the people in the cottage next door, I don't know how i would have gained access. It was a lovely peaceful stay with everything I needed and very kind, helpful hosts. "

"The house was situated in a perfect location for walking into town and exploring ilfracombe, parking was hard work but that was to be expected. The little courtyard garden was lovely and the house had everything I needed. I was gutted that I had been supplied with jam and clotted cream but no scones! I was also a little disappointed with the amount of dog hair left around parts of the property and the vacuum cleaner full of dog hair and dust welcoming me as soon as I opened the door was a little...

"Great location and room was perfect. Smart TV a nice touch.
Contrary to what Hotel.com say, the hotel doesn't have parking so you need to park in the 24 hour car park a street away.
Check in was confusing as you had to go to a different hotel across the road but it was fine. You also have to go there for breakfast."

"Absolutely great place to stay if you're in Ilfracombe. Backs onto the very pretty harbour area, really good value breakfast and the pub is friendly, great beers but not noisy at all.
Our room got a little warm and the mgt instantly upgraded us to a two-room suite opposite and the general service and friendliness of the team who manage the Royal Britannia would be a major reason for going back as well as the beautiful spots immediately around the hotel. Great job and thank you Royal Britannia team."

"The hotel was easy to find but through a narrow gateway, in a larger car it might have been difficult.The room was clean, and money had been spent, but the finish was poor. Outside needed a tidy up.The bar did not open as scheduled, seemed a bit disorganised. Breakfast small but otherwise alright. Acceptable for the price."
