"The hotel is exceptionally clean, and the staff friendly and helpful. We found it very quiet( although we were here at the end of April- it may be different in the high season.) The rooms are no frills, quite basic, but pleasant enough, with everything you need. Having a sitting room/ kitchenette seperate to the bedroom suited us well, as we tended to start the day at different times. Good location- you can walk to the old town, but there’s a taxi rank close by if you you want to make life...

"Having not been to Ibiza for 40 years , I was quite apprehensive. However, I found were staying on a beach with little ramshackle bars and it felt like I was back in the 80's again. Talamanca cannot have changed too much since then. A poncey hotel added at the far end of the beach but far enough to not detract from the general atmosphere of the resort. The hotel itself is exceptional, excellent food and quality rooms with staff who could not do enough for you . Special mention for the waiters...

"The single occupancy was extremely small and while it purported to have a sea view the direct view was the rooftops of the nearby buildings. I appreciated the staffs willingness to accommodate an upgrade to a double that afforded a pool and actual sea view. There was no beach lounge chairs provided by the hotel and the best lounging area was either to pay $10 euro per day for a third party rental or reserve the lounge or daybeds of the restaurant adjacent to the hotel at $70 - $100 euro per...
