"After two weeks of camping, we really appreciated the lovely bed and fantastic shower at this place. Not a lot of things were open when we got there later in the evening; if you are on foot, getting there from the Ijmuiden rail station is tricky. Not a lot of cabs want to come and get you. "We got the superior seaside room for our wedding weekend and used it to get ready and take a few photo’s. The hotel was very nice and helpful sending champagne glasses and anything else we needed. "The bed was perfect! You never know if you will have a comfortable bed in Europe since they tend to like hard beds. This place was perfect! We had a room that opened to the beach view. Walk out patio. Spacious and comfortable. The staff was friendly. The breakfast had all you wanted and the 24 hour tea cofee and snacks were a nice touch. "

"Hotel was excellent for our family of four. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was good for out of the main centre but a short train or tram ride into central Amsterdam. We had a two bed apartment which was very clean and the kitchen area was great for quick snacks/breakfast. The kids loved the games area. All in all a great place and would stay again next time in Amsterdam with the family."

"Well equipped room, comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Good choice of food for breakfast. Great that we could hire bikes from the hotel. Easy to get to and from the train station and didn't take long to get into Amsterdam. Zaandam restaurants were nice but the walk there in the evening we felt uncomfortable with the many youths hanging about."
