Check in was super easy. Place is clean, amazing experience however there was no light in room. Switches don’t work so had to use a flashlight through the entire stay

Le logement était parfait, très propre, rien à dire excepté l’accueil, qui se fait en self check in mais nous n’avions reçu aucun mail avant notre arrivée et nous avions eu énormément du mal à les contacter pour obtenir le code de la chambre, 30 minutes environ

Only stayed one night instead of two. Floors were dirty. Some of our group were uncomfortable staying in a room opposite of where the shared bath and shower facilities were located. The other guests were loud. The surrounding area seemed off the beat and track, but not bad. Parking was available nearby. I did call staff to try to ask about nearby laundry facilities and restaurants. I started by saying that I knew they did not have laundry services, but the person just got upset with me and said "we do not have that" and hung up on me. I tried to call back but never got anyone to answer the phone after that. Very rude. Very frustrating.

Not even close to advertised

Misleading pictures and descriptions. The geo thermal pool is a block away and community, not on site and you have to pay. The bathrooms were tiny, dirty and the woman’s room had no lock. Most dispensers had no paper towel and the overall feel was grimy.

Yuck ! Worst place we have stayed in Iceland. Toilet room stuck of mould and sewage. Really weird , mouldy shower. Small room. Bad vibes all round. We hated it so much we cancelled our second night and booked elsewhere, thus, loosing the cost of the room. Complete dive!

We thought this place had a decent room and shared kitchen area, although only one out of the two stoves turned on when my husband and I were cooking. The shared bathroom situation was a bit of a challenge for me since I'm in my third trimester, and to get there I had to go through three doors and a brightly lit hallway in the middle of the night. All in all, it's a good place to sleep if you can get through the night without having to pee.

Wouldnt stay again

No front desk for this property. Per the cleaning lady: "if its not between 4pm and 9pm, staff does not usually respond. Like many others i did NOT receive a message with check in info, but I was aware that they frequently have this issue and called in the morning for my door code. Its time for a chahge in how you handle check in, Riverside. Rooms were clean. No rug or shoe rack, so lots of dirt and pebbles get tracked in. Spacious kitchen that is stocked with cooking ware. The walls are thicker than other hostels we have stayed, but the front door slams and can be heard through open windows. We counted 12 rooms, but only 1 bathroom for men. 2 for women. There is an extra unisex one through the kitchen, but the window lines up with the toilet (prepare to moon the neighbors). Showers do not have curtains, or locks on the door. You have to cross the bathroom naked to retrieve your clothes (unless you want them soaked in the shower with you). Mens bathroom also leaks under the wall, so when anyone showers the toilet is soaked around it on the floor. Good price, good location, but just missing too many things and a bit too greedy. We would not stay again.

Inadmissible. Une chambre sale : des touffes de cheveux par terre, un évier sale et bouché... Sans parler de la salle de bain pleine de moisissures, sale et avec des traces partout. Les torchons sont sales, tâchés et ne sont semble t'il jamais changés

rapport qualité/Prix plutôt pas mal

bien que la devanture mérite un bon rafraichissement, à l'intérieur c'est plutôt pas mal. Une vraie cuisine partagée avec tous les ustensiles. Micro-ondes, réfrigérateur bouilloire, machine à eau fraiche. Notre chambre un peu petite mais fonctionnelle et literie très correcte. Un petit bémol sur la propreté des douches

No hooks in the room to leave jackets or wet towels. Not enough pots and pans for the size of the guesthouse plus one of the stoves did not work. In the showers, nowhere to hang your towel, or your clothes. All of the above are simple fixes that would upgrade the guesthouse.
